Mar 31, 2026Great little hotel in LA
It is a great location. LA is just expensive with the parking and everything but the hotel was very nice and a refreshing change of decor than the usual hotel experience. We found the staff amazing and helpful with so many things. It was very close to so much and that helped a lot using a rental car getting places. Also it is located near some very good restaurants and coffee shops...not to mention a Trader Joe's. Our room did not look out anything but the balconies were nice to sit out on in the morning.

Mar 26, 2026Disappointing - we used to love this place!
After two great stays a coupe of years ago, we had an absolutely horrific experience this past weekend. After paying top dollar for a studio suite, we arrived in our room to find a cheap tower fan in the door way. Our room was literally 82 degrees all day for three days. The staff (when they actually answered the phone, which was rare) gaslit us and told us the a/c was working. My fiancé is a contractor. The a/c was not working. We actually started to feel sick from the heat. At one point, we had three fans in our room, and all they were doing was circulating hot air. We had many, many other issues all weekend. Couldn’t get ice, were told that the $90 bottle of champagne was $600 and had a hotel employee walk into our room without knocking. We have tried to contact Hyatt and no one has called us back. DO NOT STAY HERE. It used to be a great hotel, but it has clearly gone way down hill. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Amazing hotel , staff go above and beyond for you, any small problem hotel reception see to it straight away, ice coffes were so good, contental breakfast was delicious and other foods , view from the roof top were unbelievable, along side with the pool area. Amazing hotel amazing staff would highly recommended. Stayed here for 4 days for my daughters 18th birthday.

The Dream was a total nightmare
When we arrived to check in, there was no one at the front desk. We had to wait seven minutes before anyone was able to check us in. Service was perfunctory at best. When we got the the room, it was 82 degrees. We called down to the front desk as the A/C didn't appear to be working. In the meantime, we tried to go to the restaurant on the rooftop to get some lunch. It was closed for a private event. We had to go to the lobby, where a limited choice of cocktails were available and lunch came in cardboard box. We returned to the room, which was now 88 degrees. After a couple of hours, someone showed up just as we were going out to dinner. We allowed him to stay in the room while we were out. When we returned (at 10pm), the room temp with still in the 80s. As the rooftop pool was closed, we had nowhere to go to cool off. Long story short, the A/C never got fixed, our room temp was in the high 80s every day and the rooftop pool/lounge was closed for two days out of our three-day stay.

Pristine hotel experience 🔥
Gorgeous hotel and pool area. It was a short walk to see the stars and fun to have breakfast under the Hollywood sign. The room was cool when we walked in and no issues with the A/C.
