looking for Resort for 6 guests?
I search all the surrounding hotels and decided this was the best place to bring wife and 3 grand toddlers. Few hotels allow reservation for more than 4 guests. This hotel gave us a 2 room suite with sofa bed and two doubles. while the sofa is showing a little wear and the sofa mattress was a bit worn and "cheap". it served our purpose because the 3 and 2 year old fell asleep on it, as did I. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot were basic but nice to have with kids. Staff: could not have been more welcoming. I always forget to get the names but check-in and out could not have been more pleasant and I might add,, three toddlers, running, fussing, excited and a bit loud... The pool was pleasantly chilly for the kids but did not mind as there was a hot tub. We met with couple from MI and their kids and ours had a blast. COST. compared to most hotels with a nice pool and hot tub and call themselves a "resort", the double tree was a good value. Now the hotel might show a little age in design and wear and tear, there is signs of recent upgrades. It was an exceptional value for an overnight (or longer) vacation. with kids. On a down note, we dont watch much TV with kids but some reception and choices were limited. There is DVD rental and some pay for view but we did not explore this. there were two large screen tV in the room as we had a two room suite separated by sliding/ lockable door. We checked in on line but still stopped at desk and "NDGALLARDO" did that and "Nathlay" I think checked us out.

Hilton, you're out! Sticking with Hyatt and Marriott
Grade: Poor. But first, the good stuff. Brayden at the valet desk and Iris at the Evergreen Cafe were terrific. Cheerful and knowledgeable. Walking distance to Disney Springs. And that about does it does it for the good stuff. The hotel is out-dated and in need of a thorough cleaning top to bottom. Our first room (1-bed suite) was dirty, including a cut toe nail on the kitchenette counter and visible crumbs and dirt on tables and floors. The furniture was visibly worn and torn. We changed rooms to a clean room, but during the night the smell of sewage began seeping into the bathroom/bedroom area. We checked out a day early. Will stay with Hyatt and Marriott in future.

Room Break In and NO Refund
Absolutely horrific night at this hotel. We arrived on Dec 5 to a room with food in the drain and somewhat dirty toilets, so management offered the room next door with no hassle at all. However, the following day my partner and I were awoken at 10:30 PM to someone breaking into our room -- a Hilton employee who we presume does maintenance or cleaning was trying to make his way into our room due to miscommunication at the management level. We headed downstairs to speak to George Kovacs and demanded to be refunded the night. He said we would have to take it up with our third party booking source but that he would leave a note with his manager Mohammed Mihoubi to ensure that Hilton would cooperate and give us a refund. We had no way to ensure that his word was true and sure enough have been informed that Hilton has refused the refund despite literally breaking into our room in the dead of night.

Disney without the high Disney Resort prices.
We had a King 1 bedroom suite for 10 days from Nov. 30. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The fridge does not have a freezer section, but kept our drinks and snacks cold. We were on the 7th (top) floor and had a good view of the area. The early entry to the Disney parks was worth it as the parks became very crowded from about noon onwards. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but none more so than Allen. He was kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He turned a good stay into a fantastic one! The only thing we would reconsider on our next visit is that the rooms facing I-4 and Road 535 can have a lot of road noise in the night. If that will bother you, choose the other side of the wings.

Worst Hotel in Disney Springs Area
This was to be a super fun time for our daughter's 21st birthday. A few days before I received an email asking if I would like to upgrade my room, which I responded "yes" for $150 extra per night...received confirmation that upgrade was handled...when checking in, no upgrade provided. Had to BEG for housekeeping to provide fresh towels...and oh ya, when we asked for Doubletree cookies, we were told "No..we are out". Not a good hotel and the Manager George lies right to your face. Avoid this hotel at all cost.
