Great service and a comfortable room
Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel! I traveled alone for a few days to attend a conference downtown. Here's are the pros: - Like the other reviews have mentioned, the staff at this Doubletree are fantastic. I arrived way too early (9am!) and tried to leave my luggage until check-in time, but Edna at the front desk checked and was able to give me an available room right away, which I so appreciated. - The welcome cookies are kept in a warming drawer and so are always so tasty and perfect. - My room was updated, comfortable, and clean. - It's a total bargain for how nice the stay was compared to the price. - Very easy and quick to get Ubers to and fro downtown Denver and the airport. - I traveled as a solo lady and felt safe. Cons: - The restaurant options on-site leave a lot to be desired. The breakfast place (Knife and Board) had such terrible slow service that I walked out since I did not have a free breakfast coupon. One silver lining is that you can order all the same food to-go in the Grounded coffee shop next door. - The area around the hotel is not super charming and not a lot to walk to. - The walls are paper thin and you can hear every word of every conversation or TV show your neighbors are engaging in - that said, I slept fine with earplugs and a white noise app so just come prepared. I noticed before traveling some bad reviews about homeless people hanging around the entrance and/or being situated in a rough neighborhood, and one review said they couldn't even get food delivered. I felt safe the whole time I was there and ordered most of my dinners through delivery - had no problem with quick and easy delivery to the lobby. I would have walked alone in the area if there was anything worth walking to (in my opinion - it was kind of a residential area). There are homeless people around the area but no one near the hotel entrance and no one threatening - very similar to many areas of the country now, I imagine. Please don't let those negative reviews stop you from a great stay.

Great hospitality
The staff at the hotel are great to work with, and we’re very friendly. Mackenzee and Matthew we were extremely nice and I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. They greeted me with smiles and made check-in effortlessly. Throughout my stay, the team checked in to ensure I was comfortable, and any requests I had were handled quickly and kindly. Their friendly hospitality made me feel right at home, turning my trip into an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Thanks McKenzee and Matthew.

They should have sent me an email when they changed the pool status of the hotel si se our reservation.
The only good thing about this hotel was they gave us early check in. The “room upgrade” was to a balcony that looks at a crazy loud street where noise of traffic is reverberating into our room. I booked our reservation in November for our Spring break stay for one night before we head into the mountains. When I booked, I picked this hotel with the pool in mind for my kids- that was the plan for our activity for the night after our very long drive. Now, The pool is closed for the next week for refurbishment and it is not updated in the pool info of the app. We were never sent notice of this change via email since our booking, and we did get confirmation emails so they could have sent this as an update to people that booked before the website was updated. The staff didn’t tell us at check in (or I would have found another Hilton in Denver). And when asked where the pool was she actually told me it was closed for cleaning and would be open at 5- so I told my kids we would go after dinner…now wje I just messaged for an update, they say it’s closed till the 19th. They said that it’s on the website (an I saw a big board about it downstairs as you walk down the hall to the pool area. But it’s not if you click the info of the hotel through an existing reservation on the app (the pool info just says the time- which I have checked many times as we have planned our trip). The only way I would have known is if I would have gone to the hotel website to create a whole new booking at the hotel. This is the most disappointing Hilton stay we have had. Poor communication and customer service. Looking forward to the noise of sleeping on a speedway.

Lovely 😍
Solo senior female treated so well. Booked on Priceline with complementary breakfast. Alice at front desk offered a compensatory coupon, put me on top floor with beautiful view 😍. Relaxing and delicious all the way around. Had excellent dinner by fireplace. The arugula, prosciutto, fig flatbed with sparkling Brut Rose was delectable as was the eggs Benedict at breakfast. Couldn't have been better pampered. My favorite Hilton stay anywhere, ever! Highly recommended 👌
