Good location beautiful beach. The staff is excellent the room are nice. you cant beat what Divi has to offer. It was very relaxing vacation. The food and the beach bar was the best! The transportation around divi resorts cant be beat
Would stay again- Beautiful & Friendly
Awesome staff and very clean room. Erwin was at reception area watching bags and guiding guests for shuttles/taxis. What a genuine, sweet, friendly and helpful man! Concierge also incredibly helpful!! Front desk needs some training to provide more proactive details about the resort…map, towel cards and resources were not described at all. Food was delicious and safely presented. Pools were welcoming and clean.

So let me start with the good things about this resorts. The beach is right across the road and it is beautiful. Breakfast was ok. The look of the room wasn't the problem but the humidity and the smell was horrifying. My son has problems with asthma, and was coughing all night. They gave us humidifier and tried to put us in another room, but the situation is pretty much the same in all rooms. My son uses ventilator for breathing and now it wont work,I guess from all the humidity and mold in the room. Cant wait to go to new accommodation, I have spent 3 nights on reception trying to fix the problem and just lost my precious vacation time, Not to mention that housekeeping is so poor, I left a sign on the door today for them to clean my room, they didn't do that, I had to call and waited for an hour for them to come and bring clean towels and the man was super unkind while doing that...
Some Pros, Some Cons
Pros: Wonderful beach access that is not crowded, beautiful views, especially at sunset, chairs always available and usually you can grab a hut for shade at some point in the day, pool area is not crowded with people saving chairs, Seabreeze restaurant was a nice option (great service by Elizabeth and Terrance); Overall, staff was helpful and friendly. Shuttle driver, Ramon was hospitable; Property has some potential and never seems like there are too many people, providing lots of opportunity for relaxation. Cons: interior needs updating, cleanliness was sub par (dirty floors, visible dirt and dust under beds, dirt in corners, sliding door jam very dirty, vents dirty, glass shower wall is cloudy, furniture is worn, patio furniture is also worn, fixtures need cleaning. The biggest issue was a musty and damp smell in the room. Fortunately after complaint, we were moved to another room, thanks to the help of Lilli at the front desk who was very accommodating. The next room was better, however these living spaces are not up to my expectations, and comparatively are not on par with the Eagle (where another member of our party stayed ), which had rooms that were newly and tastefully updated and spotless. Overall this property has potential due to location and the grounds, along with some very friendly and accommodating staff, however the issues with the rooms (smell, cleanliness, and updates) should be addressed in a timely fashion.

Divi Golf Resort has steadily gone down hill since I started coming here in 2008. On this last trip (and I mean LAST) we were told that we would have to give up our room and relocate with no compensation what so ever. The front desk staff is rude and self serving with no care or concern about inconveniencing their customers. The suites were also dirty and poorly maintained. The restaurant food was also not what was expected. I would say the Divi Golf Resort is more concerned about how they can make as much money as they can with no customer care. We will not be returning to Divi Golf Resort again.
