Safe Haven for friends or Solo Traveller
After a 13hr journey from the UK We were met with a very warm welcome at the front desk. We were allocated a unit on the 3rd floor in block A. It was well appointed with vaulted ceilings and a dual aspect balcony. The unit had everything you would need and more for an enjoyable stay. The house keeper Sherdonna ensured that we had a fresh supply of towels etc We especially enjoyed the Aqua aerobics which is led by Tony 3 times a week. It is serious workout but fun. Tony also hosts trivia, bingo and a mixology class at Gismo’s. He is quite an adept DJ too. Staff at the Concierge Desk … Sofia. Mislyn, Julinia ‘ Hakeem were super helpful and assisted us with choosing and booking an excursion to ST Bart’s. They will also invite you to attend a presentation for the Divi Vacation Club it was very interesting and my friend was on the verge of buying in but remembered her commitments back home. The little Bay beach has soft sand and clear warm water. Comfortable sun loungers are at your disposal . There is also great snorkelling opportunities to be had near the shore. The new ocean building is amazing and they have a wonderful roof top bar with spectacular views, cocktails and appetisers called the Mix. We managed to walk to town for some therapeutic shopping and exercise. However there are a number of taxis readily available at all times in front of the reception to take you wherever you want to go. There is a great coffee shop called the Amsterdam cafe, they sell great freshly made sandwich’s and Salads. Let’s not forget the yummy ice cream. Also on site there is a small Caribbean Royal Jewellery store where you will receive a personalised service and competitive prices. My friend purchased some beautiful white gold earrings. We also brought some quality items at the Aqua Mania boutique. The only negative for me was the lack of available local food choices from the restaurants on the resort. Shout out to Trish & James along with ladies from Canada As they say time goes quickly when you are having fun and I felt sad to leave at the end of the 7 days. I do not want to wish to my life away, but I am so looking forward to returning next year. I would be remiss if I did not mention the General Manager Anne-Marie who is a great ambassador for the company along with Elvis, Eleine & colleague whose name begins with S (Soz) Effortlessly working on the front desk Ms Taylor x
They need to work on customer service.
Much better service in Aruba. Would probably not go back. Service was slow and no one seemed very welcoming to us. We went to dinner one night at the main restaurant, it was empty and they asked if we had reservations, when we said no the reluctantly sat us. The food was terrible and very expensive.
Excellent and Relaxing Vacation
My family had a fabulous and relaxing week at Divi Little Bay. We stayed in an Oceans room, which was spacious, clean, and modern. I greatly enjoyed the balcony and beautiful view from our room. We did the all inclusive plan, which I would absolutely recommend. We dined at every restaurant and I thought the food was the best we have found at an all inclusive resort. My daughter especially loved eating pizza beside the pool every day from Slice. We found the service overall to be good, and service at the Oceans Pool Bar and Pure Ocean (breakfast and dinner) to be excellent. The Oceans Pool area was absolutely beautiful and the pools were warm. I loved that the pools were open 24 hours and we could swim and get in the hot tub in the evenings after dinner. The beach was beautiful and water was clear. My favorite thing about the resort was the abundance of nice seating options, both at the pool and beach. There were a variety of chairs, comfortable seating options, shady spots, and umbrellas. We never had to fight or get up early to find our favorite places to lounge. The resort was fairly quiet as far as activities and entertainment. There was some live music and DJ's, the Karaoke evening was great fun. However, we were not seeking a party atmosphere, so it was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this resort for families seeking a relaxing vacation.
Beautiful Hotel but it was very understaffed
Pretty hotel, great location and view but the food and beverage service was very understaffed and we had incredibly long wait times to get food and drinks during our stay. Don't make the mistake that we did and go into Phillipsburg when the cruise ships are not in town, it was like a ghost town.
A beautiful resort in Sint Maarten
Divi little bay resort is an amazing beachfront resort. The water her is warm and clear and the beach is super clean and long enough that you don’t fill crowded. The resort has several restaurants for breakfast, Lunch and dinner. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too. We stayed in a studio and it was right across from one of the several pools at the resort. Because there is such good beachfront and several pools you never have to fight for a place to sit. The resort offers some activities for kids, has some shops, free non motorized sports and for a cost, motorized activities.
