Our whole family loved Art of Animation
Honestly the theming and atmosphere were even better than what was portrayed online. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The laundry was easy to use and clean. The buses for the parks were quick and efficient, We were lucky and never had to wait. Having the skyliner there was such a huge bonus.

Ok, Not Great.
The resort itself is very nice. The rooms are good, the resort is clean, the staff is very friendly. Great pool for the kids with a pool-side movie every night. Easy, close access to the Disney Skyliner and fast shuttle bus service to the Disney parks. All that being said, I barely gave it 3 stars. The food is not good at all. Everything (the room, the food, the drinks) is very, very expensive. There are cheaper, better resorts within a short Uber or Lyft ride from Disney. I honestly expected more from a Disney resort.

Perfect Disney hotel
Fab stay here, clean, comfy beds, great staff, food was canteen style but it was fresh and decent enough and I’m fairly fussy. Cleaners did our room ever 2 days. Pool’s lifeguarded. It wasn’t a noisy resort and the skyliner to Epcot and Hollywood studios was great, close to Animal kingdom too. Buses were free and easy to all parks. Would definitely recommend. Such a clean complex, decent laundry facilities too.

Real treat
Our family of two adults, an 8 year old and a 6 year old stayed here for two weeks in October. We chose this hotel for its value range and location to Disney transport options - buses to resorts, Disney Springs etc and Skyliner. Staying on-site meant we didn't have to rent a car and could rope drop for early park entry (whilst also using Genie for other hard to get rides). It worked well for us as the longest queue we had was 40 minutes during our entire trip. We thought this resort was good value. We stayed in a Cars themed suite which was ideal for us. The room was clean and everything in working order. It had a separate bedroom with en suite shower and toilet. In the living area, there was a fold out sofa bed (double) and above the dining table was a clever pull out/fold down bed (also a double) for each of our kids. These beds were super comfy! There was also a bathroom with bath tub but no hand held shower. We had two hair dryers in the room. The kitchenette area had a sink, fridge and freezer box, coffee machine, microwave. They gave us disposable cutlery and crockery. There was also an ice bucket and ice machines on each floor next to the vending machines. Bring your own washing up liquid and cloths as these are not provided. They do provide kitchen roll though! Both the living area and bedroom had large smart TVs with Disney channels. The room had 'Hey Disney' which works like Alexa to play music, request housekeeping etc. Air con worked fine though not needed for us overnight as temperatures were cosy. Whilst there's no wardrobes, plenty of storage in drawers and hanging spaces. Tall bed meant we could store empty suitcases underneath. Housekeeping came every two days or so and we left a tip. Some days it was a full clean and change of towels, bedding etc whereas some days it was just a restock of towels and toilet roll, bins emptied - the minimum. The only thing I'd mention is that floors weren't swept well and they didn't have a dustpan and brush in the room which could've helped us to do it ourselves. We didn't feel the hotel was noisy but if you can, request a top floor room (4th floor) as noise from above travels down. Staff super friendly and the public areas well kept. All staff work really hard to keep this place in shape. The Disney theme runs throughout the resort - take time to see it all. Location close to everything on-site. Our block was 3 (Luigi) and I reckon ours and block 1 (Mator) opposite us were closest to pools, transport, food etc. whereas block 2 which has Lightening McQueen outside is a little further back. Pools were great for all of 3 times we used them (we did have one day at Typhoon Lagoon water park - see separate review) - the Nemo/Little Mermaid pool is the largest one with splash area and different depths. Our Cars pool was smaller but adequate for a short dip. Plenty of towels provided pool side though not many sun shades despite sun beds being plentiful. Lots of lifeguards which is reassuring. Some were a bit militant in stopping kids from playing around the steps going into the pool but hey, I'd take a picky lifeguard over no lifeguard at all for the sake of safety! Landscape of Flavours restaurant was fine - see separate review. We didn't eat there that much but liked the option of getting a pizza and salad to take back to our room. Aside from breakfast, we thought portion sizes were good. Refill cups great value and you can also use it for tea, coffee, water, ice tea as well as soft drinks. Buses and Skyline were superb. Never waited more than 15 minutes at the most to get transport. The day we had to get to the Swan Hotel for our bus pick up to Kennedy Space Center (which was well worth it - see separate review) we used an Uber which was reasonable and efficient. Concierge service is great. We got there before our room was ready so left luggage there and used a trolley to take cases to the room and returned the empty trolley to them. Our online food delivery also delivered to them and we collected our supplies of bottled water, fruit, snacks etc. from concierge. They will deliver to your room for a small fee if you need to but if you have alcohol in your order, you have to be around to show ID and sign for it. Overall, a brilliant resort with great staff and value for money. Enjoy!

Extremely bad customer service, poor hygiene in the rooms and dishonest guest services
I forgot my medications at the hotel, and when we reported the lost medications to the guest services and the lost and found office, we were told that the medications could not be found, and if found, that they will mail the medications to our home address. Eventually, the medications were found three days after our check out date and the hotel/motel/bad resort finally said that they will not mail the medications they my home address. They are a bunch of liars. I would not recommend with all honesty for anyone to go to this bad hotel.
