A very nice place....
We stayed here about 10 days before Ian roared thru and really liked it. It is not a new property but it seems well maintained and has all the amenities. The room we had was oceanfront and had a great view of the gulf. The beach was right there out the door. The Cabanas bar was a fun little watering hole with music most every night. They have a proper restaurant which we did not use as it seemed a bit more "formal" than what we wanted. We usually at ate the bar or at Doc Fords (sadly heavily damaged by Ian) about a mile away. All in all a fun place. Parking was available and easy to find on most nights. I must give kudo's to John the bellman. He was like a one man crew. He moved your bags, made sure you got a parking spot and provided directions. Anything you needed he could give you the info. I know the hotel will be closed for sometime after Ian and based on pictures I saw the bar has been destroyed as it was an outdoor deck type structure. I expect they will build back better. If John is working at the bellstand you are in good hands. He is a a fellow Kentucky boy.....

A Little Outdated But Still Nice Room
We stayed here for two nights. It was a pleasant stay but pool is too small for number of guests. We did not eat in restaurant as not open when we were hungry. Bar service very good and wave runners on premises for rental. Did have a problem with stopped up sink. They offered to fix problem right away but decided slow drain could wait. A little outdated but very nice room layout on 9th floor with great views!

Wonderful place for a relaxing beach vacation
This was our third stay at this hotel and we could not have enjoyed it more. Friendly and quick check-in, spacious room with the unforgettable view of the beautiful beach, excellent restaurant in the building, etc. etc. The hotel is a bit away from the bigger hustle and bustle of those hotels that are closer to the center of town. Nevertheless, you are within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping opportunities. We are really looking forward to our next stay in October!

Amazing Family Vacation and wish we could go back
We had a great vacation with our teenagers. The location, the beach and the resort was fantastic. - Our room was a very spacious 1 bedroom beachfront view suite on the 12th floor. No complaints whatsoever. The lanai is long with plenty of seating. Housekeeping is every 3-4 days but if we needed towels or garbage bags, they were delivered to our room almost immediately. The housekeeping staff is amazing. Please keep cash handy to tip them generously because they deserve it. - Kevin the bartender was awesome and really looked after our family. He gave us many recommendations for places to go for after the bar closes. The bar and restaurant do close early but there are so many great places in and around the area. Kevin is your guy if you need a recommendation. - All of the staff at the front desk are friendly and very helpful. I left my wallet behind when traveling back to Canada and they went to great lengths to track me down before I left town. - The beach is outstanding. Getting the chairs and umbrella was fantastic. The guys who book water sports are all really good. My kids had a blast parasailing and the team was very professional. We had a great trip and we can't wait to go back again.
