Highly recommended
We had an excellent 3 night stay at the Hilton Darwin in early November for three nights. Check in was handled very efficiently and all staff were great. We had excellent breakfasts at the Pepper Berry restaurant and the evening meal we enjoyed was world class. We enjoyed our very spacious and well fitted out room with the view out over the ocean. My only negative is that it is a cashless hotel but they charge 2% per transaction on credit card. It seems to me this is illegal in Australia as merchants are only able to charge (by law) what the banks charge them.

Apart from the food it was fine
Yes it is exceptional in most respects but why must chefs put garlic in pretty much everything? Even in the roasted root medley making perfectly good food taste like a sweaty sock.

Best in Darwin
We paid for club room and a high floor. Staff were warm and welcoming and more than happy to assist with our first time in Darwin. Room was excellent on the top floor over looking the bay. We were only a few steps from the club lounge. The lounge provided fantastic selection of afternoon bites and good drinks. The pool was clean and inviting and we enjoyed a few afternoon lazing around after a long day exploring.

The Hilton Darwin. Top service in the top end.
If you’re looking for a stay where you can relax and know that the team have “ got this “ the Hilton Darwin is well worth a go. From the moment our family checked in we were looked after by a team where individual and the team personalities positively influenced our stay throughout. We love a hotel where the team totally shine through and the Hilton Darwin team do just that. From the check in team, to the executive lounge hosts, to the food and beverage teams and the awesome job the housekeeping team does also, every interaction we experienced was genuine, real and down to earth. Thanks team Hilton Darwin! It’s very rare to get service and an experience like this these days. We will certainly be back. The McDonald Family
