Do not go to this hotel, extreme road noise
Road noise is extremely high all night, worst hotel I have stayed in. Do not stay else you will be awake all night. The hotel receptionist is also very rude

Worst Marriott Experience I’ve Had
This place is a joke. I waited 4.5 hours to check in and nobody told me early check-in was even an option. After waiting more than 4 hours, they told me the room reserved for me was gone. The front desk staffs were rude and had a bad attitude, talking to me like I was the problem and asking me what I wanted in a very aggressive way. The room was even terrible with zero soundproofing that you can hear EVERYTHING. AC leaks water and blows cold air straight at your head. You can’t control any of the modes. The fridge is insane, it only cools if you press a button and it works for two hours max. Any food you put inside will go bad. Marriott app doesn’t work for check-in. No daily housekeeping either. This does NOT feel like a Marriott hotel at all. For the price, especially compared to other hotels around Waikiki, this place is absolutely not worth it. Staying here is stressful and frustrating. Would never stay here again.

Bad
We stayed in Courtyard for 3 days, didnt have any amenities, and asked for extra pillows on our first night and said that they were going to deliver but did not and had to call again the next day to get pillows. Overall, had a bad customer service.

Recommend looking elsewhere for business travel.
While the Courtyard has renovated a least a couple of floors of the main building with new carpet and amenities, the front desk service has gone WAY downhill (one example: I requested a late checkout on the app; requested it when checking in; and on the day of departure, nope it's not there.) The elevator key cards *still* don't work and the lobby desks, which were a really pleasant place to work, are gone. Sorry but the 'fancy' new bar is overpriced and the help high-handed (it's the Courtyard, not the Halekulani). But the snippy, disinterested, and insincere front desk is what finally compelled me to try another business hotel after 6 years.

Disgusting, Unprofessional, and Downright Trash
This place is an absolute dump. The room was filthy, dark, and beyond dingy — the kind of dirty that makes you question whether the sheets were even changed. Everything felt grimy and neglected. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep here. The staff somehow made it even worse. Ari, the woman checking us in, was openly hitting on my husband. The second she realized I was with him, she got flustered and literally ran off. Completely inappropriate, wildly unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing. As if that wasn’t enough, Eurika at the front desk is the rudest, most unpleasant person I have ever dealt with in my life. Zero customer service skills, nasty attitude, and clearly miserable — and determined to make everyone else miserable too. We will never return. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Sleeping on the street would be cleaner, safer, and far less insulting than giving this place your money.
