  Rude behaviour of Receptionist Mr Gabriel Guarato

  We had booked 2 Rooms through my travel agent. for 3 Nights From 28th to 31st Dec 2025. Being a Bonvoy Member As soon as I checked in I asked for two rooms close to each other as we were a family travelling. The Receptionist Mr Gabriel Guarato was very rude in terms of talking to a Guest and more over a Bonvoy Member, He said we have two rooms, Take it or Leave it , U can take these two rooms or just leave the hotel. Finally We had to give in and take the two rooms One in the 3rd floor and 1 in the 1st Floor. He refused to show us the way to the rooms also, Said figure out the way, We are in the 5th floor where the Lobby and reception is situated and we were at the hotel for the first time, How do u expect guests to figure how to go the Rooms.   Edinburgh’s hidden Gem

  Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Edinburgh. The hotel never disappointed. From the friendly and efficient gentleman at reception to the clean and spacious rooms … loved every minute of it . A special shout out to Kisty at the 1802 restaurant on premises. We had the pleasure of being served by her on the Sunday and the Tuesday . She was extremely polite , pleasant and extremely efficient . Will definitely be visiting here again

  Lovely Hotel

  I booked this as a one night treat for my husbands birthday. Check in was efficient and friendly and our room was ready early. Bonus. Room was spacious and functional. Nice touch was the wee fridge in the wardrobe. Bathroom lovely. Bed comfy. View not great but it's the luck of the draw. Through previous experience we didn't have our usual drink in the bar before heading out into the City. We paid nearly £20 for two drinks on a previous visit. This time we walked up to the Omni Centre and got 2 drinks for around £7. We had a good night's sleep apart from the bottles being collected very early on a Sunday morning. Something that can't be helped. Breakfast was outstanding! Servers are so friendly and smiley. Very informative. Food was all delicious and hot. One of the best breakfasts we've had in any hotel. Late Checkout was great. We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I hope they keep their realistic pricing going forward. So many hotels are charging stupid prices and this makes us look elsewhere for a few nights away. The star on top of this hotels tree are the staff. A nicer bunch you couldn't meet. From reception, cleaners and servers. They are all a credit to this hotel. Please pass on our heartfelt appreciation.

  Nicely Situated

  Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh Edinburgh Nice One 1044483760 Lovely friendly staff, food very good and location ideal. Nice walks through Uni grounds with plenty ofcafes accessible in the campus. Nice Duck pond just bring food lol

  Marketed as 4 star but reality 3 star

  Nice modern rooms and lounge but Food offering is very poor not 4-star standard. basically burgers and soggy undercooked pizza all they have ! Shower pressure was shockingly weak, barely more than a drip. Comfortable room, but overall underwhelming and not worth the rating, the location was already far from restaurants bars so buy your own food before staying in there .. I won’t stay again for sure ..
