Disappointing
Mixed comments: Very clean. Friendly staff. Good service. Breakfast is plentiful, but food quality is not very good (powdered scrambled eggs, watery oatmeal, cheap baked goods). Beach area designated for Courtyard guests is very small & very crowded. Too many people packed in a tight space! Worst of all - BLASTING MUSIC from the bar area until 10pm!!! So unnecessary considering the guests here are mostly seniors & young families with babies.

Great Staff
The staff here is incredibly friendly and attentive. Especially Marlene at the morning breakfast buffet. Samantha at the front desk was helpful with several requests for recommendations and directions. The room we had was very spacious. There was an awkward feature where there is a frosted glass panel in the shower that opens to the bedroom. As a result turning on the bathroom light at night it illuminated the bedroom.

Franco!!! Thank You!!
The Courtyard Aruba experience was great! But I wanted to take an extra moment to shout-out Franco, an employee at Marriott Courtyard. Let me tell you, this dude physically HUSTLED for us, back and fourth across the property in the heat. He took our problems on personally. We had a situation where our flight had issues and we needed to shower before we left after already checking out. Im telling you this guy didn't quit till he talked to every person about every possibility, eventually got us a room to shower and had the taxi waiting outside. Like damn. You cant teach that type of character or hustle. Thanks Franco for your care!!

Poor service
The front desk staff completely screwed up our paperwork. They seem to pass the buck alot. The only shining star is Bryan. That being said the resort is subpar. There is a nightclub next-door that payed loud music until 0430. We asked to be moved but we're not accommodated. The food service was extremely slow. It took over an hour to get 1 pizza. There was a small piece of soap in the shower soap dish. The modern look of the room negates any privacy. The water closet/shower has opaque glass as a barrier front the bedroom. When you get up in the night to use the toilet the light shines directly on the bed.

Loved Zully!
Zully was the best server ever! Such amazing energy. I would come back just to see her. She knows how to make everyone feel like family.
