This is a beautiful hotel with great employees and excellent location. They Upgraded our room and breakfast was excellent. If you have an Amex Platinum card check booking through them for a great savings! Several restaurants within walking distance.

Great Stay
We returned to Conrad again for a pre-cruise stay. I love this property for its beachfront location (with easy proximity to restaurants, bars, shops, the airport and cruise port), massive rooms, comfy beds, enjoyable balconies/ocean views and for the considerate service. This was again the case for our return stay. The weather was finally in our favor this trip so we decided to spend some time on the beach. It was easy to obtain chairs and umbrella, and we were well taken care of by the two gentlemen, who truly seemed to enjoy making our stay pleasurable. The food was great too with nice portions! Our stay, although short, was faultless. I would recommend this property and hope to return for a future stay!

Excellent
Chose this hotel for a 4 night pre cruise stay (after much research) and so glad we did. Our weather wasn't the best, so having a large room with kitchen, living room space and a good sized balcony was perfect. We ate in both restaurants, thought the food was excellent in both, although the service in the Italian wasn't great. There's a small shop/deli in reception which does decent sandwiches but the grocery prices are ridiculous - if you want some basic staples for your room there's a tiny grocery store in the next block just behind the hotel so use that. Overall an excellent stay, and we'll be back if cruising out of Port Everglades again.

I’d booked the Conrad for a weeklong vacation after numerous past stays. When I arrived after a long day of travel, the suite had a strong pungent odor that most closely resembled mildew or something foul. A manager came to inspect but claimed the unpleasant Odor was ‘the Conrad Signature Scent’. He appeared to have the sniffles so perhaps his sense of smell Was impaired . The housekeeper offered Lysol spray. Guests in the neighboring suite came in and verified that they could also smell the strong unpleasant odor. I asked for a different room accommodation but was told there were no rooms available. I then requested a refund and had to call all over the beach to find a place to stay at 11 in the evening. In addition I had to call the credit card travel agent to reclaim points etc. I requested a callback from the hotel manager or guest service manager and received an email stating that the hotel was ‘sorry, And investigating’. No follow up call was ever made to me, Nor any accommodation. No, I would not recommend you stay at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale. To front of house manager , Tanja Steinhofer , This was not just an unacceptable failure in the experience, the lack of follow up has been astonishing.

Large spacious rooms are perfect for family travel
Our suite was huge, clean and really nice. Service was great. Beach was easy access and the staff was really helpful. Pool was fun and food was good. Overall a really great stay with our family.
