It smelled moldy, ice machine has mold all over it, the room views aren’t what’s on the website I was looking into a parking lot. The staff was horrible one snatched a bottle from my friend, they double charged my card and when I complained the receptionist said stuff happens

Not relaxing, Club Vibe, Trashy Beach
If you want peace, relaxation and comfortable amenities, this hotel is not for you. Pool and outdoor patio are very small (pictures are deceiving) so the area is only relaxing in early morning till maybe noon. After that, the poolside music gets really loud and turns to club music, with young adults partying into late evening turning that area to a crowded night club. You can't lay out on the beach because it has a lot of driftwood, seaweed, coconuts and worst of all, TRASH (empty water bottles, wine bottles, cups, napkins, etc.) on the sand. I really wish the hotel would assign 2 people to clean up their small beach area every morning especially because the trash and debris are visible from the hotel's restaurant, pool, and ocean view rooms. The irony is they have a person put out beach chairs each morning, and during my 5-day stay, only once did a guest sit in those chairs. I'm sure those chairs would get more use if the sand was cleared of debris and garbage. The rooms have poor lighting making it difficult to apply makeup or read a book in bed to relax at the end of the night. Tip for the hotel management: A table lamp on the night stand in each room would be great and please add more hooks in all the bathrooms to hang wet clothes or clean clothes and a shelf above toilet for toiletries. There aren't shelves or counter space for toiletries. The glass divider in shower wasn't wide enough so when we used the shower, the water would flood the bathroom and main room. We had to point shower head towards the wall so the water ran to the drain (which was placed in the worst spot) and lay several towels on floor as a barrier. Flooding was clearly a recurring problem as evidenced by the warped wood on vanity legs, base boards and room door. The sink faucet was loose and almost came off and the security latch was broken. Maintenance fixed both after 2 complaints at the front desk. The closet smelled like a basement (clearly due to the water issue). There were no dressers for our clothes and very few hangers so we had to leave our clothes in the suitcases. Tip for Management: Add a dresser in each room and each room should have at least 12 hangers. Some positive notes: This hotel is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, beaches and old San Juan. The main areas were always clean. The staff were all very nice, cheery and did their best to rectify any issues. The restaurant food was amazing, but pricey. Nonetheless, their amazing food and friendly staff really made the culinary experience delightful so we ate there a few times. Would i stay here again? No. I travel a lot and it's the small, simple things like being able to unpack and have a place to put my things, the hangers, hooks, shelves, table lamp, a clean beach, etc., that make me feel comfortable, settled in no matter where i go and I wasn't comfortable here because this hotel lacked those things.

From front desk staff, restaurant staff and room quality this place is incredible! We will definitely return here. Location is perfect for walking and exploring but they also provide different restaurants and bars so you truly don't have to leave. The infinity pool was the best view of the ocean. We stayed in a suite and just WOW!

Best location, great pool views
Great location, walkable distance to all the best restaurants, bars and stores, it is in the middle of Condado and it is definitely one of the most instagramable hotels, the pool is beautiful and the staff were really nice and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and we had a nice view. Restaurant food was tasty although a bit pricy.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel but useless beach due to dangerous riptides.
Great location in Condado. However, small beach but not safe to swim because of the strong riptide. In fact, we were warned not to swim at any of the Condado beaches because of the dangerous conditions. This was a disappointment because we were looking forward to swimming in the beautiful turquoise ocean in Puerto Rico! Also, the pool area was in total shade every afternoon because of the proximity of the building to the pool. It was also very windy, so we didn't spend too much time at the pool because of the shade and the wind! We learned the best time to be at the pool was in the morning when it was sunny and warmer than in the shady and windy afternoons. The loud Latin music was DJ-ed every afternoon into the late evening and while it wasn't overly obnoxious, if you don't care for a party atmosphere at this adults only hotel, this is not the place for you! Our room was spectacular, but the bathroom needs some updating. Also don't plan to do any bedside reading as there are no table tamps or sconces near the bed. I guess that's not what you should be doing here anyway? The tile for the shower drain was cracked; the sink's faucet was poorly mounted and the vanity itself was partially delaminated due to water damage. Make sure to get the Ocean View room, not the Bay view room. The room has a huge floor to ceiling window overlooking the ocean with big waves and the infinity pool also overlooking the ocean. A king size bed and huge screen TV made the room a comfortable oasis to come home to every evening of our vacation. Remember this is a relatively small boutique hotel vs the giant resort-type hotels like the Marriott nearby. The staff was always present and helpful. Condado does not have that much to offer in terms of shopping. There are some good restaurants nearby.
