May 26, 2023A marvelous boutique resort with personal service!
My wife and I had a marvelous vacation (April 19 - May 2, 2023) at Coco La Palm. William, the manager runs an excellent resort. The staff was friendly, courteous and fun. The food was delicious! WE WILL BE BACK! We had wonderful service at the main restaurant (Marley's On The Beach) from Simone, Kiki, Dave, "the big wave," Shawnee and Christopher. A special shout-out to Security Guards: Gibson and Brandon and Donovan, the lifeguard. They keep visitors safe and will watch your stuff. Kedisha was wonderful in the front office. Tip the staff, they deserve it! We were very impressed with the number of repeat customers; many coming annually for 15 or 20 years. We loved the small, boutique atmosphere with personalized service; the staff quickly learns your preferences. We felt both safe and cared for. There is no Sargassum problem. There is no cat problem; my wife is allergic to cats, and she was fine; there might be 4 on the entire property. Stephen and Jean Lewis

Hey Mon, I found my Jamaican Home!!!
That's right, I found my new Jamaican Home!!! Check in was pleasant!!! Room was spacious and literally on the beach!!! The view was amazing!!! The restaurant outstanding, drinks and food so tasty and delicious!!! The service was excellent from everyone BUT Simone was the Customer Service Superstar!!! I can't say enough great things about Simone, she made our terrific vacation FANTASTIC!!! Thank you Simone and Coco LaPalm for making my friends 60th birthday wonderful!!! See ya soon!!!

Amazing Resort!!!
Coco LaPalm is in a perfect spot in the middle of Seven Mile Beach. You can walk to restaurants, bars, music, and groceries. The beach at Coco is pristine white sand. The rooms are clean and the staff were all amazingly courteous. Marley's on the Beach restaurant (in Coco LaPalm) has the best food in Negril. We will be back!

Great hotel with the best beach!
We had a spectacular stay for 7 nights at Coco LaPalm. I’ll break down my review into a few areas, but in a nutshell, the beach and water is spectacular .. best patch of beach and water area on 7 mile. Staff friendly, helpful and hard workers. ROOM: We had a junior suite in building 2 (216) adjacent to the road. The room was large and a wonderful size for our family of three. Bathroom also massive and included a double vanity and double shower. Nice big balcony with two loungers as well! Lots of storage space and also a kitchenette (no cooking appliances). Building 2 is right up the front of the resort by the road. It was VERY loud from road noise day and especially night. I wouldn’t recommend a room in building 2 as my first choice. LOCATION: Nice and central on Norman Manley Blvd. Across the street from Best in the West and Vinne’s jerk chicken … give them both a try! We preferred Vinne’s and was also half the price of the former. HiLo and ATM is a 5-10 minute easy walk from hote. We stocked up on water and other drinks & snacks for our room at HiLo .. was super easy! Catch a route taxi into town for Patties and other needs. And also an easy taxi to west end for a change of scenery. BEACH: This is a big 10 out of 10. We’re from Australia and fortunate enough to have some pretty beautiful beaches … but the patch of 7 mile that Coco sits on is truly spectacular! Water was a little wavy our first day but the rest of the week was crystal clear, calm and warm. One of the larger netted swimming areas as well compared to some other hotels. We spent most of our day in the water. Free use of floaties and paddle boards made our water adventures more exiting. Lots of gorgeous fish that swim past .. it’s just breathtaking. Sand was very clean and any seaweed cleaned up quickly. I’ve read reviews about cats and hookworm and I was worried. I will address this because it actually did make me look into other hotels and I’m glad I don’t change my booking. There are two cats on the property .. and adult and a kitten. We saw the kitten every day and the adult once in our one week stay. Yes, they do their business in the sand up near the grass area. No, the sand was not filthy and none of us got hook worm even though we spent all day at the beach. Just wash the sand off your feet and enjoy your stay! We have since stayed at the cliffs and an all inclusive up on Bloody Bay this trip and definitely miss Coco .. especially for the beach!

Found our vacation home
We visited Coco from April 14-21, check-in was fast and easy. This is not an all inclusive, but continental breakfast is included and they serve lunch and dinner, and also have a nice bar, 2 actually. If you choose, you could leave c.c and just sign for food n drinks or pay as you go. We decided on pay as u go option. Room was a bit small (rm 805) but adequate for our needs, air conditioning worked great, fridge also a plus. First day Brandon (security) helped us find shaded area for the 4 of us and we kept to that area all week close to the pool. The beach is probably the best in the area - raked every morning, water was warm and inviting. When it got too choppy we went to either of the two pools. There's also a jacuzzi which was open late nights. We went there one night at midnight and were in there until 2 am! Restaurant food and service was fine, $5.00 off breakfast menu if u didn't have continental items, but we found out that you need to order the specials, not the individual items for it to be applied. We stocked up on beer n liquor at the nearby Hi-Lo supermarket in the mall (less than 10 min walk) be sure to bring your own bags, also we used the cambio and atm there. Everyone we met from staff to fellow patrons were friendly n helpful. We ate numerous times at Best in the West right across street the guard will help u cross the road. We were looking for our new home away from home and we found it - can't wait to go back. Thanks Coco for a wonderful stay.
