Worst place. Never returning!
Visit 06/03/2023 last 3 hours in that place. The place looks and it is very old and not clean. Need a complet reshape and makeover. Finding a parking spot was dificult and had to park considerable far from where our building was. The place was Overcrowded too and food by the pool was horrible. We order a chicken sandwich w french fries, 5 pieces chicken tender w fries, mozarella sticks and chicken quesadilla. After waiting a little over +20 mints for the food the only thing that was good was the chicken quesadilla. Everything was a bite and disgusting. The pool and waterPark was closed even though it was not thundering outside. There was ocasional lite or minimal rain but that was enough to close the waterpark and force all parents to bring their children into the arcade gaming room to milk more money out of them. Finally, We last 3 hours in total in this horrible hotel that was very deceiving when we looked at the pictures in expedia at the time of booking. They were not willing to refund the whole deposit of $152 after I told them how dissapointed we were at this place. They only refunded half $51. Very bad customer service too. The manager never even showed up during all this back and forth me trying to get at least my deposit for the 3 hours we last at that place. Stay away from this place and spent the money in something else. Finally we ended up booking at Caribe Royal. What a massive upgrade. It was worth the extra money.

PERFECT
We loved this hotel. The kids were constantly asking to go in the pool and they really enjoyed themselves and made friends. Quieter on weekdays. The room was amazing. People have commented that it is musty but it's no problem that's just because the air conditioning and not being able to open windows and having wet swimming costumes which we hung in the bathroom as I took a small peg laundry hanger. The maid took away wet towels and gave us fresh ones and made the beds and hoovered and emptied bins every day. She even put the kids cuddly toys on the pillows. The pillows were amazing. I suffer from neck, back and leg pains and the pains disappeared on holiday probably due to the lovely hot weather and the comfortable bed. But it rained every day for hours so we had to buy plastic disney raincoats which were expensive rubbish. Got the bus every morning to Universal for free as this is a Universal hotel which means it also had a new Starbucks which it didn't have before. The breakfast was amazing (kids eat free but the adult price is $18). The other snack bar had lovely burgers but I didn't like their chicken. The Hula dancing and fire eater were great but there were a lot of very noisy people in the pool not really watching them. The foam party was good. Cancelled a few times and pools closed because lightning was nearing the hotel but better safe than sorry. The front pool for hotel guests only was nice as was the hot tub, bar and the fire. Lots of umbrellas for shade and beautiful gardens and friendly squirrels. Good to go in the pool at night which they don't do in Spain. We have been to this hotel 3 times. Drinks expensive $14 for cocktails and $9 for spirits and don't forget the tax is added afterwards so we did not try them. Dunkin Donuts next door so we got a box of 6 donuts for $9 and had a nice conversation with their staff. Dennys a short walk from hotel was the best restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Golden Corral was a buffet which was quite nice but very busy at the weekend. Short walk to see the cayman alligators. You can walk to Universal but it is too hot and you use a bridge which goes over the motorway. McDonalds was good too with plenty choices and not expensive. Have a hearty breakfast and never buy food in the parks. I requested a microwave to boil water to make tea as the coffee machine did not work, it was delivered before I got back to the room. We were very pleased with the hotel, the area and our holiday. We would get the uber to Disney and only waited 5-10mins (excellent service).

First time at this location
I did not stay at this resort this time around. However, I was offered to stay on my next trip and a huge discount. My family and I did enjoy the inside and outdoor waterpark. The entire staff was professional, and friendly. I will definitely come back.

$50 DEPOSIT has not been paid back!!
We are still waiting for our $50 deposit to be paid back into our bank from this Hotel, We checked out on the morning of 8th May & was assured we would get it back in a couple of days, it is now 22nd May (2 weeks later) & still nothing. This package holiday was booked through Tui & there was no mention of the $50 deposit needed by the hotel upon arrival ? Apart from that the hotel is ok, rooms a bit tired & dated. Waterpark & pool were alright, didn't use the restaurants as prices were ridiculous.

Ok for a quick getaway......
It was ok for the price. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting and just covered in a thick layer of grease. The cafe was great though even though extremely over priced. The security was definitely on it and probably need a raise and staff was very nice and helpful.
