Had an amazing stay and received the best services from Cassandra and Taylor this past Saturday! Will be returning again, makes a big difference when you can tell this hotel thrives on its hospitable and dedicated team for its services!

Apr 20, 2026Overpriced - Dated - Tired - Bait & Switch
We checked in to our $1962.00 per night Casita at Cheeca Lodge on 4/19 and to say we were disappointed would be a massive understatement. Online the pictures of the Casita look beautiful. (Modern, Updated) That is the exact opposite of what we checked in to. The room was extremely hot and the AC was barely working. It took all night to drop it 2 degrees. The furnishings and the decor are old and tired and not even close to what was on the website! The Wifi barely works (Missed a meeting because of it) and it took engineering 3 hours last night to fix the TV's. Certainly not even close to what we thought it would be. Especially paying $6,000.00 for 3 nights!! The room was clean and the staff has been helpful. This is not a staff issue at all. The service has been very good.

Islamorada Must - Cheeca Lodge Getaway
Cheeca Lodge is a stunning ocean-front property that made our mini getaway truly special. We took full advantage of the on-site restaurants, bars and convenient shuttle service. Our one-bedroom king suite was spacious, comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. The customer service was exceptional from check in to check out. The best meal of our trip was at Atlantic's Edge, surpassing our expectations for fine dining. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be repeat guests in the near future.

Apr 16, 2026An aging beauty, past its prime.
Lush, tropical vegetation greet you as you enter the gates of the resort. It looks like paradise until you start driving past old motel-like buildings. Uh oh. Please don’t let my room be in one of those buildings. Proceed to the reception, where you get your first glimpse of the glorious ocean as you’re welcomed with a lovely glass of bubbly. Okay, this is nice! You’re given a wrist band that serves as your room key. Yep… those old motel-like buildings are where the rooms are located. I have a suite. Very spacious with a living room and kitchenette. But be prepared to step back in time. The rooms are clean, but very dated. There’s also a lot of deferred maintenance - low water pressure; warm not hot water; cracked tiles; stained carpet and sofa; rust (I know…we are by the ocean, where things rust quickly). The place just looks tired. Very tired. You can tell it once was really nice. But it’s now past its prime. On the plus side, the pier and ocean views are lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The quiet pool area is nice and relaxing. The gym is well equipped and maintained.
