Great Week
This resort is absolutely top notch. The willingness of everyone who looked after us is incredible. The food is absolutely great, the buffet fulfills all wishes, and the service never stops for a moment. I have to thank Belem for the wonderfully moderated afternoon by the pool, and the great organization of culture in the theater. I enjoyed singing, although not Frank Sinatra :-). Thank you all.

Enjoyable Family Friendly Stay
We stayed for 5 nights. We are a couple with a 20 month old, with baby 2 on the way and my in-laws also joined us. The resort was really nice, very clean and we enjoyed the 2 large pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly resort and there were many other multi- generation groups, families with young children and other pregnant women at the resort. Water- The resort filters their own water, which saves plastic. We asked housekeeping for extra each day and had no problem procuring enough safe drinking water to meet our needs, which is something other reviewers mentioned finding difficult. Food- the food was great, all well-cooked and a great selection. We ended up at the buffet for breakfast and dinner each day and usually grabbed tacos or lunch by the pool. Everyone enjoyed all of the above meal options and we found that there was something for everyone. We could not get a dinner reservation for the à la carte restaurants at a reasonable hour for 4 adults and a highchair, which was a little disappointing. The restaurants are all quite small and book up really fast, and not all were open every night. The nice thing was that the buffet had many similar items that were on the menu at the à la carte options, but we were disappointed that we didn’t get to experience any other options and by the end we were ready for a change of scenery from the buffet. Coffee- The Aroma Cafe was usually a short wait in the morning, but the coffee was delicious and the coffee and tea menu was pretty extensive. Entertainment- we did enjoy some of the live music, and our son had a blast dancing along to a DJ with the entertainment crew for St Paddy’s Day. We didn’t attend any shows as they were well past our little one’s bedtime. One thing we didn’t love was that some of the shows were on 5th avenue until 9:30pm and were right below our balcony. It was impossible to put our little one to bed even with fans and white noise on. We are all for others staying up later than my toddler and having fun, but it would have made more sense to host them at one of the many bars or entertainment venues, rather than near the rooms. It made getting up for excursions really challenging after several late nights for our little one. Alternatively we could have been put on the pool side of the building, since they knew we had a toddler with us. Pools/ ocean- There is no shade near ocean chairs. It is usually super windy in Cancún so we don’t usually spend a ton of time by the ocean anyways. There were lots of chairs available. The pool had less chairs available but we were usually about to find 1 or 2 for our little group to share. Both pools have shady areas. One has entertainment, and one is more relaxing and we loved the latter, as it also had shallow areas for lounging and littles. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort to other families or couples looking for a relaxing vacation with good food, friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely areas to relax and nice pools. We also loved the proximity to smaller marinas which go to Isla Mujeres, and we took advantage of the proximity for a fun day trip on a catamaran.
