Worth the trip!
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in one of the older buildings and the room itself lacked updates and the nice (pretty) touches. However, we were in our room for only a very short time to either shower & get ready for the day/evening or to sleep. There was no outlet beside the bed for my C-PAP, but the front desk provided an extension cord to use during our stay, so that issue was resolved quickly. The shower didn't always have hot water or it took some time to heat up, but it wasn't a major issue. We didn't have many outlets in the room, but we made due. We stayed in building 25, which was a great location since it was between the lobby and pool/beach. And we were far enough away from both that we didn't really hear any loud music coming from either end. We sometimes sat on the patio listening to our own music at the end of the day. The a la cart restaurants were good and you could always find something to your liking at the buffet. I just wish there was more of a rotation day to day. Overall, it was good and I left the table satisfied after each meal. The bartenders are great! Hector at the main bar and Jessica at the pool bar are standouts! And we enjoyed the coffee shop in the evenings for a hot drink (cold drinks available too) and a sweet treat. I have seen many reviews stating the staff is rude and chairs at the pool and beach are hard to come by. That wasn't our experience at all. The staff was wonderful, the entertainment staff was fantastic and we never had problems getting chairs. If you don't go down to the pool/beach until after lunch, then yes, you will have trouble. We always started our day down at the pool or beach and had our pick of chairs. I would recommend anyone book this resort!

Not impressed
We just spent a week at the resort and stayed in a Privilege Romance room. The room itself was spacious, which we appreciated, but it was missing some of the listed amenities such as robes and a scale. While those are minor things, there were a few other issues that were more noticeable. The shower didn’t drain properly, the closet doors didn’t fully close, the floors often felt dirty, the fridge wasn’t consistently restocked, and we never received fresh towels even after requesting them. At the buffets, we unfortunately found some of the staff to be quite rude. That being said, the omelet cook was absolutely amazing and a highlight of our breakfast experience. The entertainment staff also did a great job and always seemed to have something going on during the day to keep guests engaged. We had one romantic dinner during our stay and the waiter there was incredible—attentive, friendly, and made the evening very enjoyable. There were two nights when vendors were set up on the property selling items. While it was nice to see local products, the vendors were very demanding and pushy, which made us feel somewhat obligated to buy something just to move on. The restaurants overall were amazing. The food was consistently great and the restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the pool area and spent most of our time there. The beach and ocean were also very nice, and we never had trouble finding a seat. One downside was the constant pressure from people trying to sell excursions. They were very demanding and often right in your face, which became frustrating over time. The pizza snack bar was a great bonus for late-night snacks, and the coffee shop was a relaxing spot with very tasty coffee. Unfortunately, the casino was quite disappointing—very small and not much fun. Another thing we noticed was that the resort seemed to shut down around 10:30 PM, with little to no activities afterward. Overall, the weather and food were good, and there were a few highlights during our stay. However, due to the service issues and overall experience, we wouldn’t return to this resort
