The best place! They treated us like family❤️

Wasn’t sure what to expect. Location and price were key. Staff are great and caring. No noise from anywhere. Rooms were well stocked and beds were comfy. I will definitely return over and over! They were on top of keeping all common areas clean. Easy access to beach and zoo, shopping and dining!

Quality hotel, great staff and close the the beach

We enjoyed our time at the hotel. We basically needed a decent room and a hotel with reasonably priced parking. We are always regulars at Hula’s - the bar on the second floor so this was so convenient. ROOF TOP DECK - The roof top was fun To check out any time of day, larger groups seemed to use the area to gather. It is shared with people staying - if your room is on the 10th floor you have immediate access. HULA’s BAR - Hula’s is a great bar, live music, dancing, and they pour heavy drinks. MaiTai’s will get you buzzed quickly :-). Open mic on Mondays with a variety of performers. STAFF - they were all awesome, especially the lady that worked the front desk was so nice. WASHER/DRYER - worked great. Lots of machines. 2.00 per load (quarters). POOL - did not use but it looked great. Super clean and water was warm enough. Lots of people had fun down there. They are building something new down there - hope it’s a pool bar :-) PARKING -great options for parking but purchase in advance as I understand it sells out. Was $30 per day. Close by there are lots of good spots. Starbucks, 2 ABC stores and of course you are less than a block away from the BEACH. 🏖️ WORK - lobby and roof top were great for a couple of work video calls I had to do. As was the Starbucks on the corner. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.

    Buyer Be Ware

Old and definitely not what it appears to be online. We were on the 6th floor and awoken every AM by 0600 by the noise of service trucks below that stayed until 07:30-08:00.

This is not a hotel, tried to scam us for extra money for cleaning a room you hadn’t used yet.

We went to this so called hotel as part of a stay over at the end on a cruise we just completed of the Pacific. When we arrived at the hotel they could not find a booking at first as it was not really a hotel but privately owned apartments almost like an air bb and we need a five digit code to get in the room which wasn’t on our voucher that the cruise company supplied us with and was told there was nothing they could be with out this. After searching our phones for a while we couldn’t find this code so we when back to the unhelpful receptionist and explained that all we had was a voucher and had never had an issue before with this. She checked again and said oh yes you are on the system and then said our room would not be ready until 2pm, so we left our luggage and headed out. When we returned after 2pm we were told to go the the 5th floor and knock on on the first door on the left which was one of the rooms in the hotel which was being used as an office/store room stack to the ceiling with boxes, dirty laundry and clean laundry and smelled. There we were told the room would not be ready until 3pm now and you will have to come back at 3pm. So not to waste any more of our day we decided walk around the Honolulu zoo which was over the road. When we returned about 4pm, we was told to go back up to the 5th floor to the food we had been before so we did. We went into the room and there crammed into the corner of the room was a woman behind a desk which you could just about see through boxes and crap stacked on the desk. She welcomed us and said that we had to paid her at this point we said we had a prepaid voucher from the Cruise company which is an all inclusive deal. She said she hadn’t been paid and tried to call the number on the voucher however due to the time difference, she was unable to contact the company I said it’s paid then she said you need to read and sign this and handed me a form to fill in. Then I noticed a change of around $165.00, when I asked what is this for she replied for the cleaning of the room for our two day stay. I couldn’t believe it and told her I am not paying that which she replied you can’t have to room. I told her in that case I don’t want the room, she you will still have to pay one nights cleaning even if you don’t stay, at this point we walk out and booked another hotel as this was a scam to get money out of us and was not paying another cent.

    Excellent location and staff!

We stayed at the Waikiki Grand for a birthday trip and it was excellent! Its location is extremely convenient for visiting the beach and many other great spots in Waikiki. We were also able to easily navigate through the island from here and enjoyed seeing all that Oahu has to offer. The staff were amazing at getting us checked in and gave great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We’d absolutely stay here again and still can’t get over how easy it was to get to an amazing beach from here.
