Nov 16, 2025Disappointed with our experience
Arrived today for afternoon tea lovely lady greeted us and sat us down after that it went down hill no one checked on us to see if we where ok did we need .more tea etc only a waiter going buy I had to ask could I be served it didn't make us stay any longer we decided to leave then went to the till the man that took our money was no better didn't even ask if we enjoyed it said nothing definitely not a peoples person maybe not the job for him ! A bit disappointing

I stayed here with my family for my JiuJitsu tournament, and we stayed for like 4 days. There is continental breakfast, and the Irish breakfast, there is LIVE MUSIC every night at 8:00pm and there was Irish dancing for two nights, and the hotel was huge and so were the rooms, staff was SOOOO nice, and friendly. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!!! One of my favorite stays yet!!! An easy 5⭐️

A beautiful hotel, with an amazing staff
My stay at The Castle Hotel in Dublin was superb. I had a double room and it was spacious. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were nice and the wallpaper and linens were very nice. The bathroom was large and very pretty. The room itself was just lovely. This theme continues throughout the hotel. Every room in the common areas are well decorated, comfortable and extremely pretty. Both restaurants on site are clean, beautifully decorated and have perfectly sized menus. The food was phenomenal, and the ambiance was as well. The staff, from the restaurants, to housekeeping, to the front desk were all fantastic. Everyone went out of their way to go above and beyond in anyway that we needed. The location of Castle Hotel is exceptional. Located on a clean, quiet street. They are somewhat out of the hustle and bustle, but still closely located to anywhere you may want to go in the city. I can’t recommend this gem of a hotel enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and if in Dublin again will stay here without any hesitation whatsoever.

Short break in Dublin
I recently visited this charming hotel for a short break. The hotel is clean and well appointed as the rooms, with free water (which was a nice touch) and tea/coffee making facilites. The Irish breakfast is amazing, freshly cooked to order with freshly squeezed orange juice which set us up for the day. It’s in a great location only 10 to 15mins outside the bustling city and the Temple Bar area. The staff are extremely professional and really helpful, giving advice on local attractions, the hotel also has a luggage store facility. I would thoroughly recommend others to stay here.

Well located characterful and comfortable hotel with friendly staff & first class service.
Together with two old school friends, we recently had a great weekend away in Dublin and stayed at the Castle Hotel which was perfectly located close to the city centre. The accommodation is clean, spacious, characterful and very comfortable, especially the comfy beds which had nice fresh soft linen, we all commented that we had a great nights sleep on both nights. The staff were all very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. What is more, we all agreed that the cooked breakfast was one of the best that we had had in a long time and was very much needed on both days after two heavy nights out on the Guinness. We will definitely be staying at the Castle Hotel again next time we are in Dublin.
