    The server Yovanny Duran was so sweet and helpful! He is the best server always ready to help you and find ways to make your stay more enjoyable! With no hesitation, he was the best server:)

    Good stay..bring your own wine

    All in all was a good vacation.Rooms are dated but we dont spend much time in the room. Close to town easy to walk around. One of my complaints would be that you cannot get a glass of wine before dinner and then you cant seem to get a refill of wine at the buffet. Also dont expect spectacular service either at the buffet it's almost a fend for yourself for coffee in the mornings and wine refills are not happening when we were there ...unless you put up fireworks to get anyone to notice you then you may get a refill. And tipping didn't help either. Pillows were great bed was comfy food was good..

    Must visit yourself to experience it, don't rely on others as everyone has different needs and wants

    Ronald was very pleasant he was always asking us what we needed and how we were doing. Very well spoken and you could tell he loved his job. The resort was decent, our room 2225 was in horrible condition and made several complaints but nothing was done. If you want the best experience pay extra for the Select package. Beaches are clean, food is great, weather was perfect. Will come again!!!

    Beautiful spot

    We were in the select area and loved it. At first our room was on the top floor but hot water was a problem and I get verdigo going down the stairs. Frances helped us get a great room on the first floor. The room was very clean and nice and close to the beach, included robe, slippers etc. Showers are better taken around 3 to 4 pm for warmth. Just a note Frances speaks English, French, German and Spanish. Select area is adult only and very quiet and beautiful. Infinisty pool, hot tub, beach is small but when the day is calm the water is clear, blue with sandy bottom and excellent for swimming. A few days they closed the beach due o the waves. I did try another beach thinking they can't be that bad and almost drowned. I gues they know what they are doing:) Getting lounge chairs is not a problem and beach towels can gotten through Frances. The select bar by the pool has everything to drink including wine and champagne, other bars don't. Juan, Sandy, Jhean and Joe work very hard to serve you and help in any way. They even sang happy birthday to my daughter on facetime:) The bar also serves a lunch if you don't want to go to the buffet. Retaurants: To make reservations Frances was extremly helpful. El Batey the buffet: I am not a buffet lady but for breakfast I was able to get an omelette made, toast and fruit but it offers a wide selection. Lunch time I always either made a panini sandwich and soup which is great or they had a great pasta bar where the chef made amazing pasta to your delight. We did no try the buffet for dinner. Sea Scape: It was ok but my food came cool so we did not go back Jalapeño: We went twice very good Luiggi: excellent as well and had pizza In select area they have the best restaurnt Hermann five star food and delicious we ate mostly there. Nightly entertainment is actually quite good You can walk through the town very safe and eat at other restaurants. Sosua Beach is about a twenty minute walk and nice beach to visit.

    Home away from home

    We have been to Casa Marina numerous times and what brings us back is mostly the staff,their welcome is genuine.The friendly staff are too many to name but from reception to restaurant staff to cleaning staff,everyone no matter where they work are friendly and courteous. Sure the resort is older but always kept clean. Food is good,this said from a picky eater who never goes hungry.We hope to go back to Casa Marina many more times.Can't close without a shout out to Hugo,Santa,Glenis & Juan.
