Mar 22, 2025WORST SERVICE EVER
All-in-all the service was good...for 6 days. On the 7th day I had a horrible experience that ruined my holiday. All week breakfast, lunch or supper. I wore a sleeveless shirt (as did many) . No problem.. The last night I was rejected as the sign says no sleeveless shirts...I had another to change but my point is.... 75% of the woman in there have sleeveless shirts...(sign not gender specific).. Why am I forced to change...talked to the Manger who said that I disrespected the first employee (wife can testify) I never did..she lied. So upset 😡... WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

Amazing experience ever … Rubely cruz is one of the workers there , and she is the most amazing, sweetest kindest person ever 😍 great with interactions, very welcoming 🩵 Gabriel larrauri is another great worker at the resort ! Very kind & welcoming ! Made my vacation a great time ! 🩵 Yaneri was our amazing house keeper ! She’s just so sweet we loved her so much 😍 she did an amazing job keeping up with us in our room 😂 Definitely recommend this resort 😍 will be going again for sure !

This is our second year coming here. Our first room was not good. After speaking with the front desk they were very accommodating and showed us other rooms to move us. Our second room was excellent. We had a great view of the pool. Our housekeeper magaly was amazing she did a great job every day. We truly appreciate her attention to detail. The entertainment team here is great! Very high energy with a variety of games, dances, exercises and shows daily. Amaury is fantastic person. He manages his team very well and clearly keeps them as a close knit team. They interact with all the guests regardless of language, age or gender. Excellent group with an excellent leader. The security at this resort is wonderful. They are visible but not "in your face" they will help you with anything from directions to keeping the resort safe and happy. My only complaint is the food. Specifically the a la carte restaurants. This is an opportunity to show off what your chefs can create and show off your Dominican flavour! The a la carte restaurants can be improved a lot in terms of flavour and creativity. Often the a la carte options are bland and not great. You really cannot get a better location! You are steps away for playa Alicia and maybe a 5 minute walk to playa sosua. Both great beaches and a must visit. Playa Alicia is quieter offering a calmer experience than playa sosua. Playa Sosua is a beautiful beach with excellent shops. The shop owners are quite kind and love to haggle with prices.

HORRIBLE...STAY AWAY!!
From the moment we arrived it was a nightmare. A waste of our hard earned money!!! Staff was curt, rude and anxious to move to the next person. Ask for ground level, yet they put my parents on 3rd floor when it was noted that my parents have mobility issues (in Wheelchair) No Elevator Not given any direction as to what was where on the resort. Have to pay $8.00 PER day to use the in room safe (Never had to do this before) Had to pay $8.00 PER day to hook up 1 device to the Wi-Fi #1 Room 1. Room not ready until 4:30pm 2. Air Conditioning did not work in the room, took 3 hours for someone to come look at. 3. Cable was ripped out of the TV. Once working, the screen was so scratched, couldn't see anything. 4. Room phone not hooked up to anything 5. Patio door did not lock. 6. Hair Dryer ripped off the wall, still didn't work. 7. NO Dresser or drawers to put your clothes. 3 hangers in the closet. 8.There was a 1" crack above our main door. 9. The top of the tub drain was broken off. 10. Tub was disgusting, they tried to paint over marks 11. Bugs in bathroom ( Our buildings were fumigated while there) 12. One drape to cover both patio doors 13. No Kleenex 14. Balcony primer paint only Room Key. We were given ONE key per room. I asked for another and they refused. Stated standard procedure. I noted that I have my son in the room with us and his schedule was not the same as ours, but they didn't care. My parents lost their key and were give a "1 time only" use key and were told they have to find the key or they would have to come back every time to reprogram it. Needless to say that didn't go over well and they got a new key. Pool Towels We were only allowed 1 towel a day. It poured rain on our towels and they would not exchange them for dry ones. 85% of the towels were ripped or shredding. Pool In desperate need of a paint job. Huge Black marks and scuffs throughout the pool. Bugs and debris floating around, never saw anyone attempt to clean Mold and algae where the waterfalls are supposed to be along the side of the pool. Food There was little variety available, but the quality was horrible. The a la cart restaurants were ok. You could tell they reused some of the leftovers over and over again. Same thing on buffet everyday....very little new each day. Entertainment Pool side: maybe 3.....SAME games everyday Nighttime: STARTED at 9:45pm!!! Too late!!! Talent was poor to say the least... Kids magician, Sing along to juke box...etc. No shows to show off the culture. No pool side bar service Broken signage all over resort The spa roof was caving in, the painted walls peeling off Selection of Alcohol was very limited #2 Room Not ready until 4:30pm Toilet overflowed Outlet covers broken off the wall Shower head sprays every Light switches not working. Room Phone, dial tone, but doesn't dial out TV not working. #3 Room Not ready until 4:30 Toilet overflowed TV did not work Phone in room did not work You can tell they are not putting any money into this resort. All we did was make the best out of it. I strongly suggest you DO NOT go to this resort.

The front desk was not very helpful and not accommodating. We got sick when we were there because the water in the bottles tasted awful and stale. Picked up a bacterial infection and had to go to doctor. Husband is in hospital at home from infection. The walkway was very uneven and easy to trip on. Good variety of food at the buffet. Housekeepers kept the rooms clean. Needed work on the building and in the rooms as the bathroom door would not close and the toilet ran for about half an hour. I will not be returning to this resort again.
