Insect Infestation
This was our second stay at Caribe Royale and will definitely be our last. I *wanted* to like this place, but we've just had too many negative experiences. On our first stay, our child was injured by broken furniture in the room and housekeeping stole several items from us, but it was our second stay that pushed us over the edge. After a long day at the park, we returned to our Villa suite and quickly got our youngest to bed because we had a tour scheduled early the next morning. Afterwards, I went into the master bedroom and found that insects had rapidly infested our room, including the bed. It was NOT a small amount of bugs, and the more we killed, the more appeared. My husband went to the front desk to speak with the manager and the only thing she would offer was to have us move rooms, with no assistance, and no compensation; it really did not seem like she cared. After some pushback on my husband's part, she said she could give us $200 off for the night, which wasn't even half a night's compensation, and stated that was absolutely all she was willing to do. It took us hours to pack up all the belongings we had brought for a 10-day stay (including a fridge and freezer full of groceries), wake up our youngest child, take all three of our kids and our pet to a different building, unpack, and then get the kids back to bed. It was a massive inconvenience that took up our entire evening and left everybody exhausted the next day. If we're paying hundreds of dollars for a room so that we can be rested and enjoy our vacation, it shouldn't come with an insect covered bed and the requirement that we spend hours moving our belongings and our sleeping children. This hotel is just too big to care about individual customers. It feels like a drive-thru, where they don't care if you leave, because somebody else will be there next.

Pool is consistently closed for private parties
In the week that we have been here the entire pool area has been closed off twice, on the hottest days, due to private parties. We had planned a day by the pool today as it’s too hot to visit the parks but it is closed again. We have been offered no explanation about why we weren’t pre-warned about this and have been given no apology or compensation. The hotel itself is nice but we booked for the pool and haven’t been able to use it. We could’ve stayed somewhere much cheaper if all we wanted was a place to sleep. The bus to the parks runs late everyday too. I’m unsure what the resort fee is for. It’s a shame as we like the hotel and the pool area is beautiful, it’s just a shame we’re not allowed to use it! It seems extremely greedy of the hotel to make money out of the hotel guests and then also rent the pool out. If you want anything more than a place to sleep avoid this hotel.

Not recommended for families staying in suites
We stayed in December in a two-bedroom suite during our Disney trip, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. One important thing to know is that you have to be shuttled to and from your room to reach the main entrance. This makes things like DoorDash deliveries or grocery drop-offs very inconvenient. One evening we waited over 30 minutes to be picked up after being told we couldn’t request a shuttle until we were already downstairs. We had to keep texting for updates, which was frustrating after a long day at the parks. The rooms themselves were also very worn and beat up (see photos). Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property for a Disney trip.

Where Your Suitcase Gets a Suite Too
Caribe Royale Orlando is the kind of place that makes you immediately question why your house doesn’t come with a separate living room, a resort pool, and a bar within walking distance. This all-suite resort doesn’t just give you a room, it gives you space, dignity, and the freedom to drop your bags without tripping over them like a Disney dad after rope drop. The suites are huge, clean, and dangerously comfortable. You get a separate living area, which is perfect for late-night snacking, pretending you’ll watch TV, or dramatically collapsing after a full day of theme park chaos. Beds are comfy enough to make you briefly forget how much money you spent at Disney that day. Now let’s talk about the pool. This thing is less “hotel pool” and more “I might accidentally stay here all day.” It’s massive, beautifully designed, and includes waterfalls, slides, and enough lounging space to convince you that sunscreen is now a personality trait. Bonus points for the bar nearby, hydration is important, and cocktails count. Location-wise, it’s close enough to the parks to be convenient, but far enough away that you’re not surrounded by screaming children 24/7. It feels like a calm oasis where you can recover, regroup, and remind yourself you’re on vacation, not on a forced march through fantasy lands. Service is friendly and efficient, and the whole resort has a polished, relaxed vibe that says, “Yes, you’re in Orlando and you’re doing it right.” Bottom line: Caribe Royale Orlando is comfortable, spacious, relaxing, and just fancy enough to feel indulgent without being stuffy. If you want a resort that lets you enjoy Orlando and recover from it, this is the move. Highly recommended and your suitcase will thank you.

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff!
I really enjoyed my 3-night stay at Caribe Royale! It is a lovely property with large rooms that are nicely decorated and well laid out. I had a separate sitting area from the bedroom/bathroom. The furniture and lighting in the rooms was very nice. The pool area is beautiful, such a fun way to spend time relaxing at a resort. I really enjoyed the DJ Sequoia who played by the pool on Saturday. It was super fun to have music, although it was a bit loud. Food options at the hotel were nice and drinks were good. It was very nice having a microwave and a fridge in my room. A couple small issues: I wish they had decaf in addition to regular Keurig pods in the rooms. The walking trail that's one-mile around the property isn't yet done - it's still being built and I got lost on the last segment. Lastly, the activities desk cannot book tickets for solo travelers - just for 2+ tickets. That was a bummer as a solo traveler.
