    Slice of paradise.

    Staff was all lovely. Had pleasant interactions with the front desk, wait staff, bartenders, and housekeeping. Resort was conveniently located and had everything you could need. Pools were nice and clean. Special shout out to Roberto at the pool bar and Benny at Caribar. Food was ok. Nothing special but off property there are great options in Old San Juan which is just a:short uber ride away. We will definetely come back!!

    Needs a makeover

    Sad to say but this hotel is really worn and dated. I’ve stayed twice recently for work and would never stay on my own. My last visit I was in the Waves Tower and my room never got cold and was always stuffy. The lock to the sliding glass door was stuck therefore could not be opened. The beach doesn’t get cleaned and there is a lot of debris in the sand as well. For example …bottle caps , paper , straws etc

    Heavenly resort

    The Caribe is a little piece of paradise! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and ours had a view of the beautiful lagoon and pool complex. There are several pools, hot tubs and even hammocks to sway in the breeze. A great place for some R & R.

    Beautiful Facility But Service Issues Marred our Stay

    Our 19th floor room in the Wave Tower was comfortable and had a great view, and we really enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds right on the beach and having a drink out on the patio. Some of the other aspects of our visit left something to be desired. The service at the bar on the evening we arrived was atrocious. Too many customers and too little staff. The long wait to get into the breakfast room was similar - not enough staff. Empty tables sat unused for quite some time while waiting for a busboy to clear them while people lined up outside. The $35 buffet didn't offer a lot of choices and was not well kept - spilled food, empty bowls, cold eggs, etc. One of the two elevators in the Wave Tower was out of service for half of our stay resulting in ridiculously long lines every time we went up or down.

    Caribe Hilton performs up to its standard

    My family of four stayed here for 5 nts recently. Stayed on Honors points so 5th night free. Diamond member. Overall Id give the Caribe at 4.5 but since no half stars available will go to 4. Good recognition of Hilton Honors status here, excellent in fact. Met NO unhappy or grumpy employees, all were very pleasant. Free cont breakfast for two very ample each day. Got a modest upgrade to Wave tower ocean view from Beach tower no view. View from room was toward the old fort on premises, the water, and a big rooftop. Room was just fine, big shower nice pressure. People griping about the Caribe are probably expecting 5 star facilities and pampering out of a 3.5-4 star resort. I came in with the latter expectation and found the resort performed just fine in that regard. Plus you get a nice private beach area with calm water that is huge when other beaches on the north coast of PR have ripping surf and are unswimmable. Win!
