    Great Place

    This was a Family trip we have needed for a long time. The only complaint I would have (to get it out of the way) is the timeshare pitch booking as soon as you check in. I booked this vacation through AFVC; I just needed to check in, get my parking pass, then go to my room. But I got held up with a date/time to go to "lunch" that we were not able to attend due to other circumstances. Just not appropriate to do this after people have spent several hours on the road and need to rest from exhaustion. That being said... The resort was great. There are four pools that we utilized. They were heated. There are amenities on the resort that provide most of what you would need immediately. The rooms were clean, nice, and spacious. We had a 1 bedroom and it was plenty for our Family of 4. I have a teen daughter so another bathroom would have been nice, but that isn't the resort's fault... Everyone who worked on the resort that we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional. Some were more helpful than they had to be; in a good way. The location was good. There were some nights we did not go out for dinner, I just walked to nearby restaurants and picked the food up myself. It was also very convenient to everything we needed while we were there. IF we ever return to Orlando area, we will stay here again.

    Great Resort!

    We reserved both 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units and they were perfect! Loved the pools and the pool bar with drinks/eats. A playground is advertised but the resort doesn't have one.

    Calypso Cay Resort

    Our stay was pleasant. Average. People upstairs were very noisy all week, but you can text HELP and they will send security. We had to finally do that twice to get some sleep. It was clean but a bit dated and worn. We had a 3 bedroom, and the beds were comfortable. Our view from the deck was the parking lot. Staff was pleasant and they tried to sign us up for the tour when we checked in. We didn't and they never bothered us again about it. The pools are nice with a good variety. Overall, it was a good, average stay. It is conveniently located!! I had seen some very bad reviews and was concerned, but it wasn't as bad as the reviews made it sound. Certainly not upscale but an overall decent stay.

    Calypso Cay

    We had a great time at the resort! Check-in was a breeze.We stayed in a two bedroom unit. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The furniture is dated but was comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfy! We had our grandchildren 5 and under with us. The pool areas were perfect for all ages. The pool and the area was kept clean with plenty of seating. We ate at the pool bar and the food was decent This resort is so convenient to the parks! I would definitely recommend this resort!

    Prime Location

    Excellent location for Orlando! The hotel had lots to do pools, waterslides, zipline, and rock-climbing wall. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking was great, elevators helped you to your room, so you are not over exhausted. Definitely will be back!
