Just like Vegas, only closer!
For some reason I feel silly after visiting Caesars New Orleans, after spending all that money flying to Vegas. I could have drive 20 minutes and save myself some cash.

My experience last weekend feb 20th 2026 😩
There is a fifty dollar occupancy fee per night which is what I thought the 300 dollar a night reservation covered, apparently not. In a city with non existent parking on the street I was hoping parking would be included, not! 30 bucks a day. The hotel is a nice building but that all stops when you meet the staff. I requested no service for the room but everyday a non English speaking attendant would still nock on the door. I struggled with her to restock my coffee and sugar and she had no clue until I dug the empty packet out of the trash. I stopped to ask one of the bellhop/doormen a simple question and was rewarded with his attempt to introduce me to his ethics on starting a conversation and I left without an answer. I had a young child with me and thought we could check out the food court within the casino , like on the website, and were immediately told you had to be 18 to enter the casino. But guess where the food court is? Inside the fkin casino itself. I asked if there was a place to grab some quick food like a burger and was directed to Ruth Chris steakhouse which is like 150 bucks a person inside the hotel. Total disappointment. For the well traveled who will bash me, this was a volleyball tournament, and this was the blocked hotel for the players to use to get enough reservations to play in the invitational tournament. The elevators are loud! The water pipes rattled from somewhere when somebody was using the bathroom/shower , hard as a rock mattresses but the pillows were fluffy. The only thing this place has to offer is it is within walking distance to bourbon street and the convention center, where the tournament was held ,was a ten minute walk. I understand New Orleans is a tourist destination and expensive but was taken aback by the sheer greed and rude staff at the hotel. This place is NOT for kids, NOT for non gamblers.

Perfect location to appreciate Mardi Gras!!
Just returned from an incredible stay where everything exceeded expectations. The rooms were available on time, clean and well-appointed. Dining was delicious with great service, and our casino host, Mariann, made us feel incredibly welcomed. The overall Mardi Gras atmosphere was amazing—a perfect location to see the parade without having to fight the crowds. Security was on-point. Highly recommended!
