Nice Boutique Resort
Just finished a two week stay. This is a nice resort. The staff were very nice and professional. Close to the Malecón as well. Also shops and food stores. Our king bed was comfortable. We had a sea view room. It was nice with a large closet. The food was very good including the buffet. The Sky Bar was nice too. -the main pool is a touch small and needs some tiles replaced -there is two al la cart restaurants. -the beach is rocky so bring water shoes for the ocean swim. -this is a four star resort. Over all it was very good. We d stay there again.

Just ok with beautiful view and great location
This a great location as you are in walking distance for a lot including the Malecon. The staff is amazing and work very hard. We stayed in room 1347. It was a great view. Rooms are on the smaller side. The balcony is great to have with ocean view. The beds are hard and bedding/sheets feel like sandpaper, also stained. The room was clean. Shower is great. We were not impressed at all with the à la cart restaurants. If you stay there for a longer period of time, it’s the same menu so prepare to eat out as well. You have an extra charge for any type of steak or seafood which was a first. 30-70$ up charge. The sunset restaurant for breakfast was good. Again staff at the sunset was amazing. Dinner was ok. We did the buffet for breakfast with once. Very small and not great. The snacks at the pool bar were probably the best food we ate. Mexican night was great. Large variety of food and culture. We tried to do the Caribbean night but we were turned away. Cocktails were great at the skybar. The pools are small and sometimes crowded. The activities crew was great and tried to get everyone involved. Pool staff again, amazing. They work their tails off so remember to bring your tip money. The ‘adult pool’ was concrete loungers in 3ft of water. Not great. The one thing I did not care for and they should change their strategy. As soon as you check in you are bombarded to purchase a ‘membership’.

Good…Not Great
This hotel is very pretty and in a good location for walking to the Malecon and old town. Pros: -Location: Easy and safe walking. Cheap to get a cab. -Rooms: Nicely appointed even though they are a little small. Good water pressure in the shower and housekeeping is responsive. -Bars: The bar in front of the Sunset restaurant makes good drinks. Beach: Nice-sandy. It is rocky in the water but there are plenty of loungers available. Service was good on some days and non-existent on others. (Same as at the pool.) Cons: -Rooms: We purchased a “Deluxe Ocean View” and were disappointed to be a it on the first floor with a balcony that looked out on an ugly roof area. -Pools: Very difficult to get loungers as people place item on the chairs and leave for hours at a time. Impossible to get loungers in the adult area. -Safety: The pool deck is VERY slick. Every day we saw multiple people slip and fall. It is very, very dangerous. -Food: The buffets are small and not restocked. The food is just not very tasty either-very bland for Mexico! -Fiesta Night: Don’t bother with this on Thursday. The line for the buffet is miles long and there is no place to sit even if you can get through the line. Overall, this wasn’t a bad stay, but the food definitely isn’t worth going AI here. You might get your money’s worth on AI if you drink a lot of liquor. I would give this place just an “ok” rating.

Horrible noise and dishonest staff/manager
This hotel has great location, roughly 10 mins walk from the boardwalk and close to everything in the downtown area. I’ve stayed with their sister hotel “villa premiere” twice before and decided to give them a shot Unfortunately, the quality of service from their sister hotel did not extend over here. The only positive things of this hotel are: the space is clean, location is great, decent security and safety checks. This hotel is your typical cheap all inclusive spot. Food and drinks are mediocre, definitely don’t worth the high cost they are charging. I can easily get better food and drinks anywhere down the street and pay less The beach area is small, sharing space with the public beach. They cram all the beach chairs so close together, it’s hard to enjoy the space. And because it’s a public beach, there are all the local people camping in front of you - so much for the beach view. Now, maybe you’re thinking, that’s ok, I’ll just hang out by the pool. Their pool is quite small and very crowded. Be prepare to stand with strangers shoulder by shoulder in a pool of water… there’s no room for any swimming Of all, my biggest problem with this hotel are 1) the noise level and 2) dishonest and combative staff/ manager. Noise: stay away from room 1101 if you don’t want to sleep past 6am, and able to go to sleep before 11pm. This room is right next to the service area where their staff are constantly coming in and out. I don’t have problem with staff do what they need to do, I have problem with their staff assured me this room would be quiet upon check in. Dishonest/combative staff: When I reported the noise issue to the hotel and asked to speak with a manager to make it right. Two staff member pretended to be the hotel manager and gave me wrong information. When pressed, they then say the manager is in a meeting and will have him call me back - he never did. 5 hours later, I found the manager Julio hiding behind the office of the front desk. Not apologetic at all, he said there’s nothing he can do other than calling me a cab to the airport. He stated that since I book via Expedia, he can’t do anything and their reservation people have left the office (it was around 2:30pm only). When I got Expedia to talk to him, he flat out rejected any refund or compensation and lied about offering them to me and I rejected him. I am truly flabbergasted how much lies this hotel tells and rip people off with such horrible attitude. Travelers beware!! There are much better places to stay in PV

Kids club review
Sophie and Andrea were great at the kids club. Took the kids to the beach and made sand castles. The kids loved them. My kids were 5 and 7.
