Another Amazing Winter Trip to Bucuti and Tara
My wife and I recently returned from our annual winter vacation at Bucuti and Tara. We’ve been loyal Aruba visitors for almost 25 years, and since we discovered Bucuti and Tara a dozen years ago, we haven’t considered staying elsewhere. This is our favorite Caribbean resort, and we love this place! It’s difficult to say anything about Bucuti and Tara that hundreds of others haven’t already said. Friends and family often ask us why we choose Aruba and this resort annually. We love international travel and we have enjoyed many of the Caribbean islands, but this is the place we feel is “our home away from home.” Why are we annual visitors? First, Aruba is incredible. We love the amazing selection of restaurants, and we love the fact that we feel safe wherever we visit on the island. The residents take pride in the lack of crime on the island, and that plays a role in us returning annually. Specifically, why do we love Bucuti? Well, you have to see the incredible beach there to really appreciate how special it is. On top of that, we love how easy it is to book an umbrella and chairs on that amazing beach. Bucuti has an adequate supply for every guest, and the ability to book a spot for the following day on the resort’s app is great. The facility is clean and constantly modernized, and we’ve already booked our Tara Suite for next winter. One of our favorite things about the resort is the Sand Bar. We look forward to spending time there daily, having drinks and enjoying conversations with the staff and with fellow guests. Aldrick, Greg, Carlos, Robert, T, and our special friend Karen give amazing service and make our afternoon visits fun. We also dine at the Sand Bar multiple times during our visits, and we really appreciate the fact we have access to the amazing Element’s menu at the bar. Speaking of restaurants, the new restaurant, Terra, located at Bucuti is an incredible addition to the dining options at the resort. We dined there twice during our visit. I often tell those who question us about our loyalty that the staff is what truly sets this place apart from all the other nice resorts on Aruba and other Caribbean destinations. It’s always risky to start naming the many on staff who exceed our expectations daily, but I do want to brag on some of them. First, we get amazing service from the very competent and nice person who makes our annual reservations for us. Mayra makes us feel like VIPs and she makes the process of setting up reservations enjoyable. We know our housekeeper by name and she knows ours! Georgia is a great ambassador for the resort. The staff at the two restaurants who prepare the included daily breakfast buffet are also incredible. Margarita and the team at Tara are old friends now, and Juan, Nakarid, Orville and the team at Elements give great service in a world class outdoor setting. Finally, a highlight each day is to be greeted with a smile by the women at the towel station. Esmaral, Beverly, and Brendolyn greet their guests by name and with a smile, and we count them as several of our many friends who have been greeting us at this resort for over ten years. I could name many others, but I hope you sense my appreciation for the incredible people who labor so diligently to make each guest’s vacation memorable. To sum it up, we love this place and can’t wait to return. We also love the people who work there, and we appreciate the opportunity to recognize them as a team which provides a service experience that exceeds expectations! Book a trip, and you’ll probably join the many people who return year after year.

Truly a home away from home.
It is always a pleasure to return to Bucuti: we know that going there guarantees the quality of our holiday and the relaxing stay we aim for. The hotel is exceptional, quiet, and elegant; you truly feel you are in an exclusive environment. What makes this hotel so beautiful is, first and foremost, the staff. Most of the team remains the same over the years, which creates a sense of 'familiarity' and makes you feel 'at home' year after year. It clearly shows there is cohesion and friendship among them, which is wonderful to see. The hotel is refined and sophisticated, yet it conveys that exact sense of 'family.' The premises and general spaces are always spotless and well-maintained—from the gardens and walkways to the rooms, restaurants, beach, and pool. The beach is undoubtedly a key strength: it’s very wide, with umbrellas spaced far apart and incredibly comfortable sunbeds. The sand is pristine white and the sea is, of course, stunning. The food is high quality, and having breakfast outdoors with an ocean view is incomparable. The service is impeccable in every aspect. You often see the Manager around the resort chatting with guests; it’s great to see that he values people's feedback and is always ready to assist even with the smallest things—truly kind. Every staff member is exceptional. This year, we have a special mention for Orville, who assisted us at breakfast and lunch with extreme kindness and care. It was always a pleasure to chat with him. In addition to the 'usual suspects' who consistently receive great reviews (Karen, Greg, and all the staff at Sandbar and Elements), this year I particularly want to mention two more people we were delighted to meet: Cynthia and Rosendo. They always welcomed us with a smile and friendship late at night when we returned to our room. Madeline at the reception also stood out for her kindness and willingness to help with our small requests. Returning to Bucuti also means reuniting with guests we’ve shared holidays with in previous years, which is another highlight. Without a doubt, this is our 'happy place', our favorite spot to spend an amazing vacation in a wonderful location, surrounded by beautiful and genuine people.

Fabulous adult resort.
My husband and I with friends just returned from a one week vacation at Bucuti and Tara. This was our first time at this resort but it won’t be our last. It is an “adults” only resort on Eagle beach. We stayed in a Tara suite. It included a bedroom with balcony overlooking the ocean. There was a living room with sectional, coffee table, under cabinet fridge, nespresso machine, microwave. The bathroom included a double vanity, walk-in shower, and lovely amenities. The room was exceptionally quiet. We never heard noise from any room around us. Not even water running! The overall cleanliness, grounds, room, restaurant was exemplary. We travel frequently and this resort ranks among the most pristine. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They refer to you as “family” and that is exactly how we felt. Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne. As we went through the registration process they noticed my birthday was during our stay. I never mentioned it. When we got to our room, there was a bottle of champagne, delicious Dutch cheese, crackers and a jar of nuts. The attention to detail was professional. We ate at the on site restaurant, Elements, many times. Every item on the menu was delicious. Service was wonderful. The servers were friendly. They let you set the pace for your evening. The most important part for my husband was you could reserve a beach chair. There is an iPad in every room from which you reserve your chair/umbrella. But don’t worry. There are more chairs than rooms!!

Another Stay, Another 5 Stars!
This was our second stay at Bucuti & Tara, and we booked our next trip before we even left. I've left a glowing review before, and I'm happy to be able to leave another. I can say without hesitation that this resort sets the standard for what hospitality should feel like. From the moment we arrived, we were struck again not only by the beauty of the property, but by how immaculately maintained everything is. The grounds are stunning, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. What truly elevates B&T is the people. Every single employee we encountered - without exception - was kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. That level of consistency is rare, and it does not go unnoticed. The culture here is clearly intentional, and a huge credit to ownership. The sustainability efforts are especially impressive and add another layer of meaning to the experience, as you feel like you’re supporting something thoughtful and responsible, not just luxurious. And then there’s Paco - she's always a highlight for me! (Paco is a girl, this was newly discovered - ask if you don't believe me! And call her Paquita now. ;) ) She completely stole my heart, just as she did last visit. Visiting her became part of our daily routine, and she added such a unique and personal touch to the entire stay. I’ll be thinking about her for a long time. I also want to recognize a few truly outstanding team members who made a lasting impression: Aisha – An absolute gem. B&T is incredibly lucky to have her. She has the presence and warmth of someone who could easily step into a concierge or management role in the future. Juan – He remembers you, makes you laugh, and genuinely wants to make sure you're enjoying every moment. Wagner – So friendly and personable, always checking in to make sure your day is going perfectly. Vincent – What a phenomenal individual. An incredibly talented server, a fantastic photographer, and someone who truly goes above and beyond to make you smile. Luis – Friendly, funny, and always making sure we had great drinks and an even better time. Angel – An amazing personality. He was always nearby if we needed anything and consistently went out of his way just to say hello, which meant a lot. It’s rare to find a place where every interaction feels genuine, but this resort has mastered it. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already looking forward to coming back. Thank you!
