  Hard time getting to the car park

  Apart from the strange way to get into the hotel for car parking the Hotel was a nice stay. It was close to the Customs house where we attended a reunion. I would stay here again.

  Best of the best - amazing service, great rooms - so comfortable

  An absolute wonderful stay from start to finish. A warm, friendly welcome from Jemma on arrival with professional and engaging check-in. It was first time to the hotel and I was made to feel so welcome, with details on restaurant and gym times and location shared. My room was fabulous and overlooked the beautiful Brisbane River and Story Bridge (and wow, no better place to view a Brisbane thunderstorm - incredible). I was surprised at the size of the room, that it had a large long lounge chair PLUS both bath and shower. The bed was super comfortable and I had such a great night's sleep - and the airconditioning kept me cool from the humid Brisbane weather. I met on duty manager, Alex, during my stay and he was professional and attentive. Perfect location to walk into the Queen St Mall, walk along the river or take buses/Uber/drive to any part of Brisbane.

  Great dining, with exceptional friendly attentive staff. A winner!

  The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very attentive. Excellent service. The meal in the restaurant was exceptional, melt in your mouth meat with each accompaniment added to the experience. First class dining.

  Anniversary Stay

  Brisbane Marriott and staff never fail to impress!!!! My wife and I had our wedding reception there 19 years ago and went for a 1 night anniversary stay. We were greeted by Guila who was delightful. Our room was ready early which was great. I left my phone in the car, the concierge was very helpful going to get it. While I went to get my phone, another staff member offered my wife water and complimentary drink cards. After going out for lunch we were greeted with a beautiful hand-written note, with a platter of dessert treats, a beautiful touch! Another couple of complimentary drink cards by the very pleasant Justin as we left. I know we pay for this service, but I think the Brisbane Marriott staff were exceptional, and really made a short stay special! We will be back!

  Great location but not so modern property

  Excellent location with not so excellent Welcoming experience. My first experience with Brisbane Marriott. It’s got all the facilities one needs. The location is perfect with everything around. Initially got a room with two double beds for a single person but the front office was kind enough to change the room with river views. What I loved most was the SPA and the swimming pool with city views. The gym was a bit outdated with equipment seemed pretty average. The only reason I am giving four stars is because of the cold and not so welcoming experience of the front of house staff. The experience made me feel that being a Marriott Gold Elite member is nothing. I enquired about the access to Executive Lounge and I was told on my face, that’s it’s only for Platinum members and above…never felt so humiliated ever before. But there’s always a first time for everything. Would love to visit again whenever an opportunity comes as I have nothing against the property.
