Unforgettable Experience – The Perfect Blend of Relaxation and Fun Came here for a bachelor trip looking for a mix of relaxation and partying, and this resort delivered beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, Angel, Sergio, and Ivan went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was unmatched — it genuinely felt like we were reconnecting with old friends. We had an absolute blast playing beach and pool volleyball with them; they brought great energy and made every activity more enjoyable. What really stood out was how warm and genuine they were — they even made the effort to come say goodbye during their shift as we were leaving. The resort itself strikes the perfect balance between chill and lively, offering both peaceful moments and vibrant social vibes. It was a 10/10 experience all around, and huge props to Angel, Sergio, and Ivan for making our trip truly memorable. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to have a fun, welcoming, and unforgettable getaway.

The rooms were nice comfortable, I really like the pool view that we had facing the ocean. The party pool was excellent ! Overall good music, good atmosphere and plenty of chairs. One for the pool waiters was the best. His name was Juan Carlos, always happy and ready to help. Karaoke nights, Tuesday and Thursday was the best part of the entertainment, and the host. Sergio was amazing!! Some feedback and opportunity to improve: 1) several people, including myself, noticed that the same music was being played over and over again in the seven days that we were there. 2) music shuts down at 5 PM! This surprise me for an adults, only hotel, basically kicking people out of the pool area. This swim bar closed at 4 PM which means you needed to get out of the pool to get a drink. 3) the shows occurred too early in the evening usually during dinner time so our group missed most of the shows. 4) you couldn’t make reservations to the restaurants first come first serve some wait times were over 40 mins- 1 hour long. Or I would rate this hotel seven out of 10 for adults only all inclusive

Couples Trip!
We typically stay at Secret Resorts and definitely found Breathless a bit more of a party vibe but loved our stay! Huge bonus is you are able to visit Dreams Onyx enjoying two resorts. We definitely will make a trip back with our family. Food overall was delicious and love the fact the buffet is open for dinner if you want to grab something quick. We were lucky enough to have Gricelda (Ms G) as our concierge who was absolutely wonderful taking care of any details we had asked about!

Unforgettable Service — Especially from Edwin @ Energy Pool!
We just got back from an incredible stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun, and while the resort itself was great, what truly made our trip unforgettable was the amazing staff — especially Edwin at the Energy Pool. We’ve stayed at several all-inclusives over the years, and while some may have had better beaches or more luxurious amenities, none have come close to the level of service we received here — and Edwin is a huge reason we’d come back. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like VIPs. Always attentive, friendly, upbeat, and just genuinely caring. He knew what we needed before we did, and never missed a beat. His presence completely elevated our pool days, and his brother (who worked with him) was also awesome — a fantastic duo. A few other staff who really stood out: Sonia @ the Party Pool – not only kept the energy going, but also gave us Spanish lessons and helped make the vibe even more fun. Gabriella @ After Dark – sweet and welcoming every night, always made us feel at home. Pedro @ Strip Grill – dinner at the steakhouse was delicious, and Pedro had us laughing the entire time. Great personality and great service. Enrique @ Silk City – super accommodating, especially with our group of seven. Made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone felt taken care of. Ivan @ E-Staff – constantly checking in and keeping things running like clockwork. The food at the dinner restaurants was phenomenal — the French and Italian spots were so good, we went to each of them twice. Poolside service was quick, the music was always going, and even when we had a minor issue in our room, maintenance responded fast and took care of it without any hassle. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to give the Party Pool more space — it had the best energy, but it was a bit small for the size of the crowd it attracted. All that said, it’s the people who make a resort feel special, and Edwin is a big reason why we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re lucky enough to spend your days at the Energy Pool with him, you’re in for a fantastic vacation.

Lots of fun and relaxing! Great place and amazing staff.
Went on a girls trip and we had the best time! Food was great, rooms very nice and it was a fun place with great people. We joined in and the entertainment staff was all great, but Ivan was our favorite. He was the best, made our trip a lot of fun. We did water aerobics with him and saw him at the themed dinners, dancing and at the club and he was a lot of fun! Thank you Ivan for making this a memorable trip and entertaining us. Edy at the excursion desk was also so knowledgeable and kind. We loved our trip to XCARET that he booked for us and all his recommendations were great.
