We had a wonderful experience at this resort
Amazing food and service at the spoon! We enjoyed breakfast daily with friends. The team of servers spoke English and took care of all of our needs. Breathless was a wonderful resort and the sunshine was much needed.

Take me back!!!
We LOVED Breathless! Our typical vacations are action packed, so we were ready for some relaxation and that is exactly what we got. Overall, hotel was clean, food was better than expected, especially the Italian, Mexican and hibachi. What really made our stay was the staff...by the time we had to leave, we felt like we were part of their family and were so sad. Carlos at the Exhale beach is a gem of a person, the sweetest and and goes out of his way to get to know you and your preferred setup etc. We would see him doing sand art on the chairs for newlyweds, and he even made one for my friends and I on our last day... tears haha. Mar and Ely were our waitresses at Exhale beach and were fantastic at keeping us hydrated :) Armando at Hibachi was hilarious! The entertainment crew was AMAZING. Estrella, Mafer, Arminda, and of course, Uncle Charlie made our days by the pool and our nights some of the most fun times we've had and they were always so personable. I would go back immediately if I could.

Breathless vs Temptation
Nice hotel good drinks great pool party but for sure not a party hotel, who closes the night club at midnight when people actually arrive at 10pm. I would visit the resort but in my mind I would have to know it’s not a party vacation. I do re call the food being tasty in all the restaurants we visit

Great activities and nightlife!
My friends and I chose this resort for the fun atmosphere and nightlife it offered, and we had a great time our whole trip! The pools offered good music and activities during the day. The shows and themed nights were entertaining and fun and the dance club was a blast! We also wanted to stay away from the more “couples” geared resorts. The grounds were very nice and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and modern. Beds are very comfy! Our only complaint for our entire trip was the food. None of our meals were very good at any of the sit down restaurants accept for hibachi, but the steak was tough. Actually every steak we ordered was VERY tough and over cooked. The buffet was quite good, though, and seaside breakfast and poolside grill were as well. We also appreciated the little eats at the XHale Club lounge. The staff were overall extremely friendly and pleasant. They work very hard to ensure you have what you need. Tip them well! Overall a really fun trip and would stay here again knowing that it was for the fun and not for the food.

Enjoyed our stay
We went for son’s wedding. Beautiful place and wedding was gorgeous. On restaurant information in app it would give the dress code but when going to restaurants the dress code was not enforced which I thought was good. You shouldn’t have to wear dress pants and dress shoes to restaurants, you’re on vacation. As long as you have closed shoes and jeans why does it matter? You’re sitting down 99% of the time you’re in the restaurant. I found all restaurants good except for Spumante. We both walked out of restaurant not feeling well and food weighing heavy. We didn’t finish the lasagna entree and I only slept 45 minutes that night and did not feel better until 24 hours later.
