Dec 29, 2025AMAZING Trip - Beautiful Accomodations, truly Attentive AMAZING STAFF, Gorgeous Sunrises/Sunsets, GOOD Food & FUN!!!
I have to RAVE about the incredibly attentive staff - honestly and truly Every Single person we interacted with! (Obviously on a PACKED Christmas week, people were BUSY and understandable ‘waiting our turn’ is sometimes required! But any waits were short & ATTITUDE and willingness & eagerness to please and help was EXCEPTIONAL - EVERYONE!) Activities Team! - Erik & the ENTIRE Team…nonstop energy and desire to make/keep guests Happy & Engaged… simply FUN! Def be ready to get your Salsa & Merengue ON!! Not to mention never ending Water Games/Black Jack/Ping Pong/Fun/JOY! Thank YOU! The Concierge Team - Alexia, Izhmir, & Andrea (& one more whose name I didn’t get - So Sorry!!) - ALWAYS helpful and accommodated. Our guests arrived at different times, so I ended up on several tours/‘orientation walks’ -cuz like a cruise ship, you have to quickly get the lay of the land to maximize your stay! (Just ASK! They were SO eager to help!) COFFEE, Ice Cream, Snacks 24/7!! …and Really Good! Pretzels, top quality coffees & regularly rotated Delicious some very unique Ice Cream options. Gratitude to that 24/7 staff, but an extra special shout out to Anahi!! Special ‘hearts’ in my coffee and the sweetest nicest disposition (the other daytime girl was amazing too! Just missed getting her name!) … oh, and don’t miss the ‘masked bandits’! DON’T feed them! But they were kinda fun to watch 🙃 Front of house Staff!!! Omar - always ‘Johnny on the spot’ looking for concerns to ‘solve’, help to offer! AND… an extremely SPECIAL shout out to RODRIGO Sandoval!! Rodrigo went WAY out of his way to help with a small, but very meaningful booking issue - by a 3rd party booking, NOT Hyatt’s team! - and Rodrigo not only ‘stayed with us’ till the issue was resolved, but also then went above & beyond to make sure our accomodations were the very BEST they could be… even escorting us to our rooms to make positive we were Good!! Cannot Thank Him Enough!! Buffet Breakfast (daily made to order Omelets, fresh fruit/veggie Smoothie Bar, FRESH local juices & FRESH fruit bar + wonderful rotating alternating options - pancakes/waffles/lox & bagels/oatmeal/MANY MANY More!) Breakfast/Lunch Options available daily till 5, at ‘SPOON’. GOOD Food ALWAYS available! Taco bar at Wink from 4-6 (told the very BEST Bar was the little one right there!), poolside options whenever needed, delicious extensive made to order ROOM Service if the mood called! And then a significant variety of dinner restaurant options… especially if you’re only there 4 nights as we were… but I THINK we somehow managed to hit them ALL - can you say “First Dinner/Second Dinner”?!?! (Was travelling with HUNGRY Muscle Building Men!) Morning Routines varied by guest: Morning beachside yoga, workouts in the well equipped daylight gym, morning ‘sleep ins’ - either in bed with ceiling to floor windows wide open & breeze blowing in, or poolside ‘sleeps’ either in sun or shade - lots of options for both! Some of us did ‘early breakfast’ and would still meet up for 10am Family breakfast! Lunch options on ‘still Full from Late Breakfast’ bellies: Another dip into the Spoon for grazing or specific desires, or handmade brick oven pizza at the beachside bar while chillin in swings/hammock area, or pool side snacks with beverages by your choice of pools! (The High Energy Activities pool, or the ‘chill’ with varied music throughout the day!) LOTS of Great Options! ***One very important thing to be aware of….IF like my family you actually LOVE going IN the ocean and ENJOY being AT the beach and in the water… you need to be aware that Playa Riviera/Morelos is NOT a swimmable beach! We are told that year round there is prohibitive seaweed trapped on the beach by the coral reefs (?). Not positive the reason, but that’s what I ‘heard’. And while we were rather highly disappointed when we realized this, we simply decided we’d take a $20 Uber over to the GORGEOUS crystal water public beaches by CocoBongo for a day… BUT… to our own surprise, we had such an amazing time poolside and just ENJOYING… and we Never left the premises!! One last special shout out…I noticed on Christmas Eve - when many Managers holding ‘power’ over scheduling would have been home with their families - It was not wasted on me that Property Big Boss (or at least one of!) - Marte Andrade - HE was the one working so his workers could be OFF! Couldn’t help but think that that had something to do with how AWESOME the staff was!? Pretty Awesome BOSS for sure! Would definitely Return!

Breathless is Perfect
Best food ever! All specialty restaurants were fantastic. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Staff were so helpful and happy. Will definitely come back.

A delightful oceanfront stay!
We had a beautiful, spacious oceanfront room with a fabulous view. The resort is well-designed and had good restaurants and had 24 hour access to food and beverages. We really enjoyed the Asian Silk Road, with a fabulous sushi chef, Francisco. Our waiter, also named Francisco, was extraordinary and made us a delicious flaming affogato! The French restaurant was also excellent. Our bartender Christian made the best Tamarind margarita ever, and both Manny and Maui in activities were exceptionally kind and helpful. We had a delightful stay!

My overall experience was good. Gamboa, Valerie and America in the exhale lounge were amazing. Gamboa went above and beyond our entire stay. They turned my trip around when I experienced a rude employee Lucia in the exhale club. She was rude nasty and disrespectful. They should not have people with her attitude working there. Once Valerie moved our room from by the ice machine the trip was great. The food was decent.

Great service and food
Service here is excellent. Food is very good for a resort and there are lots of options to keep it fresh. Edwin is awesome and the whole pool team is amazing. There are 2 pools with different levels of party and daily activities. Property is well maintained and location is close to cancun or playa if you want to venture out.
