  Great February Visit!

  This review is an easy one to write. This was our second stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, and somehow it was even better than the first — and the first trip was already fantastic. Everything hit the mark again: the room, the grounds, the food, the entertainment, and especially the people. The staff here really do make you feel like family, and we actually kept a list of everyone who went out of their way to make our stay special. The Amazing People Who Made Our Trip ========================================= Check‑In & Arrival America – Handled our Xhale Club check‑in. My wife and I were guests of my brother and sister‑in‑law, who are Xhale members. I don’t know all the ins and outs of the membership, but I can say the perks are pretty great. Xavier (Bellman) – Took care of our bags and delivered them straight to our room. Super friendly every time we saw him. Energy Pool – Xhale Side (Where we spent most of our days) Vincente (Pool Concierge) – Made sure we had chairs and fresh towels every morning. Victor (Pool Concierge) – Worked right alongside Vincente. These two are a powerhouse team — always smiling, always helpful, even moving umbrellas throughout the day so we could chase the sun or the shade. Edwin (Waiter) – Whether it was food, drinks, or questions, Edwin was on it. Roger (Waiter) – If Edwin wasn’t in your section, Roger was — both of them hustling nonstop to take care of everyone. Cristian (Bartender) – Made fantastic drinks at the pool bar and was always up for mixing whatever we asked for. Alan (Bartender) – Held down the swim‑up bar and kept everyone as “hydrated” as they wanted to be. Spa (We did the hydrotherapy session — highly recommend!) Karina – Took great care of the men during the hydrotherapy experience. Istella – Made the hydrotherapy session wonderful for the women. Evening Entertainment & Bars Wilberth (Waiter) – Took care of us during evening drinks outside — always friendly. Roque (Bartender at The Bar) – Served great drinks while we watched the Olympics and played a very competitive (and hilarious) game of Jenga. Carlos Leon (Preferred Lounge) – Always smiling, always kind, and the creator of the famous Bumblebee cocktail. His drinks were some of the best of the whole trip. Restaurants Diego (Picante) – Gave us exceptional service and even brought sombreros for some very questionable but very funny photos. Alandino (Coquette) – Recommended dishes and explained how chocolate and blue cheese work together in a dessert — and he was right, it was oddly delicious. Raphael (Bites) – Took great care of us at breakfast every morning. Chef David (Silk City Teppanyaki) – Talented chef with a great sense of humor. His Teppanyaki show was a blast. Ester (Host at Silk City) – Everywhere at once, keeping everything running smoothly with a smile. If she was nearby, you knew you were in good hands. Jhony (Sommelier) – Kept the drinks flowing and had a great sense of humor. Housekeeping Karen – Kept our room spotless all week. We met her one morning and she was incredibly kind and helpful. About the Beach We’d seen some comments about the beach before arriving, but honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. We walked both to the right and to the LEFT, and the staff has clearly been putting in a lot of work. They clean up the seaweed daily, and with the barriers in place, the water was great. It made for a really nice stroll — peaceful, clean, and genuinely enjoyable. About the Road to the Resort The road to and from the resort has been repaired, and they did a fantastic job. Compared to traveling that same stretch in 2024 after the hurricane damage, it’s a completely different experience now — smooth, easy, and so much better. The staff truly made this trip wonderful. It takes a great team to make a stay feel this seamless, and they nailed it. All the shows were great, the pool activities were a blast, and karaoke and The Voice contest were ridiculously fun. I will forever be known as “Scott from Ohio.” The entertainment team kept the energy up all week, and the poolside gambling and auctions were a riot. If you’re trying to decide whether to stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, I hope this helps. It’s relaxing, refreshing, recharging, and just straight‑up fun. We’d go back tomorrow if we could — and we’ll definitely be back soon.

  Breathless is breathtaking!!

  Breathless is breathtaking! Butlers Esteohania and Gamboa were beyond accommodating and always available with any questions we had. They made our honeymoon/anniversary so very special. ❤️ The pool staff at the Xhale Pool were amazing. Fun atmosphere with games, music, activities … no boredom! We were served amazing drinks by Edwin and Roger, and the Cabana guys were so great. Victor (thank you thank you we will miss you!) had our cabana bed always ready for us with a smile and Vicente made us feel welcome. All the guys were funny and friendly. Above all, were were extremely thankful for the doctor in house, Sergio. Saved our trip! Can’t say enough. We will absolutely return to this resort. It’s laid back when you want it to be, a pretty good party bar, and the foooood was incredible. Entertainment was unique each night. A fair value for the money. Extra points for a swim out river off the patio, room cleanliness, and just all around fun and hospitable environment. Loved the raccoons, iguanas, and birds just beautiful! ☀️🫶🏻

  Excellence

  We had the best time! We had a group of 7. We were taken care of the second we stepped foot onto the property. There is something for everyone here. From food to entertainment to the pools and beach, excellent! Shout out to our favorite breakfast waiter, Manual, activity guy, Luis and pool concierge, Daniel, you really touched our families hearts.

  Great stay! Great for remote work!

  This resort made our entire vacation unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their staff, especially my favorite person Miss America, she went above and beyond. I was in a wheelchair due to a broken leg, and they upgraded our room and ensured every need was handled with care. The entire team (experience, xhale club and lidia the bartender, Daniel, Gamboa, Jorge Garcia,) treated my sister and me with genuine warmth. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were fantastic, and the overall vibe was perfect. Plus, the rooms were spotless. We’ll absolutely be coming back!
