Music at party pool in middle of resort, is excessively loud, cannot enjoy our balcony, room, nap, read or talk, 8 hours of it is too much, bass was so high patio door vibrates! Family member with hearing aids could not wear them due to volume of music. Two pools music compete so its a music disaster, and I love music. Gave a 4 as staff are terrific, restaurants and room service. Live music at main bar was terrific and volume it should be. Shout out to Yensi, Jennifer, Jose, Darthing made our week enjoyable.

Non-Stop Fun, Great Vibes, and Unforgettable Pool Parties
My experience at this resort was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve visited many resorts in both the Dominican Republic and Mexico, but this one was truly unforgettable. The staff, the location, and the activities and entertainment were among the best I’ve experienced. Staff – Truly Outstanding I want to start by highlighting the incredible staff who made my stay so special: Freestyle Pool Carlos Perez Carlos is simply excellent. His positive energy, great vibe, and ability to make people laugh made the experience unique. Despite how busy everything was, he was always attentive and professional. Casino Faustino Radhamez Fernando Joaquin These four gentlemen made my nights unforgettable. Their kindness, attentiveness, and even wise advice made every evening enjoyable. The casino itself is good, but the staff makes it exceptional. Entertainment Rafael (Shanthy) All the entertainers were good, but Shanthy truly stood out. The joy and energy he brought to every event were unmatched. Always smiling, with a unique style that made each activity more fun. Concierge Janna She was always on top of everything—kind, professional, and very helpful. She kept me informed of daily events, made reservations, and assisted with anything I needed. Housekeeping Euri Our room was kept immaculate. We never lacked anything, and everything was clean and smelled wonderful every day. The Resort & Facilities The resort itself is beautiful, with lovely landscaping. Everything is very close—no long walks to get to the pools or the beach. The pools are excellent. The infinity pool is large and peaceful, but my favorite was definitely the Freestyle Pool—that’s where the fun really happens. The entertainment plaza is fantastic, and the coffee shop is one of the best I’ve seen, offering all kinds of coffee options. There are bars everywhere, from the lobby to the beach, with attentive staff always ready to serve great cocktails. Activities & Entertainment This is one of the best resorts I’ve visited in terms of activities. There’s always something happening throughout the day. The Freestyle Pool deserves special mention. Every day featured a different event: Birthday Pool Party Champagne Pool Party Neon Pool Party Dominican Pool Party I spent hours dancing, laughing, and having an amazing time. The White Beach Party was absolutely beautiful—being next to the beach, enjoying cocktails, dancing, and ending the night that way was perfect. The central plaza activities were also outstanding, especially the fire show, silent party, and Dominican show. Areas for Improvement While my experience was excellent overall, there are a few things that kept this resort from being a perfect 10/10. Food The restaurants have great themes and friendly staff, but the food quality and flavor could be improved. There is a lot of variety, but not everything tasted good. Room Service: Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. I ordered twice, and both times the food lacked flavor and was not enjoyable. Buffet: This was the best dining option overall and more consistent than the specialty restaurants. Another minor issue was upon arrival—no one guided us to our room, and the signage wasn’t very clear, so we got a bit lost. Thankfully, a very kind member of the cleaning staff helped us find our way. Overall, the resort met almost all my expectations. The staff was exceptional, the activities were unique, and everything was conveniently located. While the food could definitely improve, the overall experience was fantastic. I will definitely return to this resort because I truly had an amazing time. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay!

Just got back to Canada from Breathless Punta Cana and I miss it! I wanna go again, haha. Breathless was absolutely amazing. I also went over to Dreams a few times and it was wonderful there as well. The food, the swim up bars, the beach, the weather, the other great guests, the hotel itself.. all incredible. But what makes the whole experience stand out from other countries that have all inclusives is the service and the employees. So genuine, warm hearted and kind hearted people that want the best for their guests. A few names .. Anthony in the lobby bar, Alberto in the Deep swim up bar, Daniel in the same swim up bar, Valentin at the Spoons breakfast Buffett, and too many more names to mention. Thank you for an incredible experience. It was my first time in the Dominican and it won’t be my last, see you again Breathless! “It’s a pleasure!”

Good experience - would go back
Very nice rooms and facilities. Food was good. Beach was nice; pools were great; ability to use Dreams Onyx next door was appealing. Casino was fun. Very mixed clientele - American and Latino; mostly couples.

Dec 22, 2025Worst. Birthday. Ever
So I started the trip great and thought that I was going to have an amazing birthday. My best friend and I wanted to celebrate a milestone birthday and her first trip out of the country….. The people are nice but Hyatt has to do better as a company. I was injured on the cabanas, the stair gave way and I fell through and then the trip was the worst. I had to wait for help 20-30 minutes if anyone came at all, no incident report was given. Management was not seen I was in the hospital all day on my birthday. I’m bruised hurt and back home now trying to put myself back together. It was supposed to be my big vacation and ended up being a disaster.
