Feb 07, 2026Fun but very noisy , not enough care for private holidays , seemed it was for conferences.
Very clean and modern hotel , noise levels very high though … take ear plugs. Amazing food and great restaurant staff. Be prepared that they may shut the fun pool on the roof for a private party, which is disappointing, happened twice in our holiday. When it was open it was great fun.

Good with some room to improve
The resort is exactly what I rated it, "good". If you are looking for great food and great service from the staff that rating is actually great! Everyone in our group agreed that while we were there the food was good and very good at the specialty restaurants with the exemption of the Mexican one, that one was lacking on food quality but the service remained top notch. What brings the rating down for us was the lack of private beach and the beach itself is small. There is no snorkeling on site and the pool is not really protected from the wind. Also while the bartenders are all great on tending to you, several lack in drink knowledge and how to make drinks. We also thought the drinks were were "okay", and have had better drinks at other resorts as several of ours this time seemed watered down and / or the soda pop was watered down thus taking away the flavor. If you end up with a windy day on beach, it's windy at the pool just slightly less. The pool is nice and offers your typical swim up bar, loungers and activities but there is little to no protection by the pool from the wind. This was a little disappointment as several of the previous resorts we have stayed typically will have some areas of the pool that offer more protection. "If" it's not windy, then you have nothing to worry about. The roof top pools are very cool but one of them is only for the Exhale upgrade which do not purchase ahead of time because you can negotiate the price once you arrive and yes it will be cheaper. The other roof top pool is nice and offers a swim up bar and a grill to eat at, but get there early to get a lounger otherwise you will not have one.

Our hotel room was nice and the drinks were cold, but that's about all. Very confusing hotel to navigate. Very little for entertainment. Was not allowed to be in our pool on three different occasions because it was booked for private parties. High pressure sales in the lobby. No supper buffet for those who like that. Only allowed certain drinks in the restaurants at supper time, but for a fee, you could get something different. Great hotel if you go there and want nothing to do!!

We have been to Breathless Cancun Soul three years in a row, and that alone should say everything. Every single stay, we feel truly taken care of, at home, and genuinely valued as guests. This resort just gets it. The E-Team absolutely makes the entire experience — huge shoutout to Fabian, Daniel, Kevin, Ferran, and Amir. Their energy, kindness, and attention to detail elevate the stay from great to unforgettable. There is always something happening, whether you want to join a party, participate in activities, or enjoy a more low-key, relaxing day — you can truly choose your vibe here. Martin and Gloria at Spumante delivered one of the most memorable meals we’ve had — outstanding service paired with incredible food. Speaking of dining, we never once waited for a restaurant, even with a group of six, which is almost unheard of at an all-inclusive. The rooms are gorgeous, modern, and beautifully maintained, and the entire resort feels fresh and up to date. The beach is always clean, the grounds are immaculate, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make every moment special. Breathless Cancun Soul continues to exceed our expectations year after year. If you’re looking for a resort where you feel welcomed, appreciated, entertained, and relaxed all at once — this is it. We can’t recommend it enough and already can’t wait to come back. 🌊✨

Feb 04, 2026Great Trip with Amazing Views!
This resort has incredible views! We spent most of our time on the roof top pools. Check in was easy, but make sure you have a bathing suite readily available to throw on while you wait for room. My husband and I always pack ours in our backpack. Restaurants: French was delicious and definitely book teppanyaki as it was such a tasty and wonderful experience. The Energy roof top pool area has great entertainment in the afternoon. We were able to relax at the calm exhale club pool with amazing views. Beach is nice and the water is beautiful, but it is public and does get a lot of traffic. I would recommend upgrading to Exhale club due to the private breakfast restaurant and the access to exhale club pool. Overall my husband and I would return to this resort; the staff is attentive and friendly, the food was good and the views are breathtaking. Few name drops: Linda B.
