Beautiful resort, clean, lots to do, 3 fantastic pools (if you are Exhale - which I highly recommend). Excellent customer service, great drinks and bartenders! Great location too - near ferry and excursions. Nice beach and clear water. Note: beach is public but there is a roped off private area for lounges.

I will start with the negative… When crossing the lobby the sales people trying to get you into their time share were relentless. They call it anything but a time share and offer you the world in extra VIP perks to stop and talk. They made the lobby area near the elevators unpleasant constantly. Don’t fall for the resort credit coupons they put under your door, throw them in the trash, its just a gate way into a high pressure sales pitch. Next, the bed was to soft like a big marshmallow that you sink down into. Then in contrast the pillows were the roundest large firm pillows and no way to lay your head on them. The resort did not have any other pillow options. So, we slept with a folded towel under our heads. The rest of everything during our stay was really good. Nice food options and drink with good service by the friendly wait staff and bar tenders. This was a little more of an upbeat resort but there was still space to get away to another area a little more quite when you wanted it. The evening entertainment was nice, but we would have enjoyed a live band somewhere in the mix of the 8 days we were there. The pools were nice and well maintained and the highlight of the pool was a hard working young man named Ferran. He helps lead the activities at the pool, beach, evening entertainment and other classes and events. He really engages with you and gets you involved. I’m the type to sit things out but somehow he makes you want to come and play and I absolutely enjoyed everything he got me involved in. By the end if he called my name to try something I just went because I knew it would be fun. When I come to Cancun next I would base my stay on where ever Ferran is working, because he really was the icing on the cake and made our days special.

WEDDING
HAD THE BEST WEDDING EVER!!!! One of my have resorts I’ve ever been too!! Truly was an unforgettable experience can’t wait to go back!!!!

Overall great, with two things to consider
The great: the people (Rocio, Mercedes, Emir, Faskano, others). So friendly and engaging. Buffets for breakfast and lunch. Picante and Coquette and Sushi for dinner. Pools were wonderful The good: rooms were solid. Good views. Spacious. Night activities were enjoyable The bad: long waits for restaurants if you don’t get there close to opening. Steak place gave us raw meat and took forever to remedy. The terrible: we had three different issues with dinners. Told concierge. She didn’t do anything really. The first guy we mentioned to (some VIP agent) tried to convince us to do their stupid vacation package presentation as if that would fix the problems. Seriously, Hyatt, get that stuff out of your hotel. I don’t want to be pressured by sleazy salesmen on vacation.

The food,the hotel and the staff are amazing Aaron is the best waiter. The 2 rooftop pools are so beautiful and the view is amazing.
