Mar 01, 2026Home a week and I want to return.
I visited in February 2026 with my adult niece. Neither of us had ever been to Mexico and we made a perfect choice with this resort. There’s so many different levels of energy. There’s something for everyone. I’m in my 50s. She’s in her 20s and we had so many things to participate in that made us both happy. The silent disco is an absolute blast. The food and service were amazing. The Entertainment team is spectacular. The best I’ve seen actually. Daniel, Alex, Kevin and Emir were everywhere you looked and working so hard. We participated in cycling, yoga, aqua aerobics, trivia and more. We used amstar for a catamaran to snorkel and go to Isles Mujeras for a few hours. I would highly recommend that excursion. You can sign up in the lobby but we found the stand near the energy pool to be more convenient and less busy. Coco cafe was a highlight. We stopped at least once every day. The beach is public and I wasn’t sure how that would go, but it was not a problem at all. Yes, you see a couple of children/ families here and there but when you’re on your beach chair, staring out into the ocean…it sure didn’t bother me. The ocean is very swimmable and you can go out to chest height before the sea grass starts. Our server at Coquette was Melinda and we enjoyed her so much. It was busy in there but she didn’t make us feel rushed at all. I would recommend this resort and hope to return soon. I live Midwest so getting here isn’t extremely easy- but boy was it worth it.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned and restocked daily. My only concern was that a staff member stole my jacket from the rooms closet.

Hotel style resort with close location to CUN airport.
Hotel is modern. Rooms well appointed. Evening entertainment was geared for 30-40 year olds. Beach is okay. Water is clear blue and beautiful. Food was okay. Enjoyed Exhale benefits of quiet roof top pool, upgraded breakfast options and private bar/lounge.

10/10 highly recommend!
We came for the beach and fell in love with the whole facility! Everyone was helpful and accommodating. This resort checks all the boxes from amenities and friendly staff to entertainment and most importantly food selection. We had an amazing stay at breathless.

One of the worst vacation hotels I've ever been to. It's like being in an apartment building, it's noisy, the beach is public and the view is not pleasant. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are no seats all the time and we have to wait in line. A cheap hotel for which we paid a lot. A total disappointment. I can only give high marks to the staff and the chefs, they are kind and the food is delicious.
