Frequent visitor. Friendly staff. Good value. If you’re arriving earlier then 4:00 PM, hoping that you’ll get an early checkin, don’t bother. Not gonna happen. They’ll word-salad you and circular reason you into submission. Save your energy and plan on going to the beach until you can check in. Assuming you wore your beachwear, the beach amenities include two chairs, umbrella, and towels (if you ask at the front desk). Don’t forget to request your Beachcomber beach access wristband at the front desk. Plan on holding your bag(s) food and drink(s) at the beach because there are no tables for you out there. The dining areas are right on the sand, including the bar/lounge. The bar is the best space at the resort. They’ll fire up the gas fire pit in the evening. Nice place. What you’d expect from a South Florida resort. The food and drinks at Deep ( the resort bar and eatery) are average. Think Applebee’s or Sizzler. The best thing—most note worthy dish—on the menu is the Tomahawk pork chop, which in my experience Is hit or miss. Might be available and it might not. Decent property. Friendly staff. Don’t expect to be wowed buy the staff or the amenities. Overall, decent value. By the way, if you need something after normal hours, don’t bother the front desk. The “night auditor” ( after hours guy at the front desk) will claim the he was hired as the computer guy and knows nothing about anything at the resort. He can print a receipt for you at 2:00 AM, if you need that.

We stay her often and always enjoy our stay. It is a beautiful hotel. We especially want to give kudos to Debbie in the Deep Ocean Front restaurant. She is so friendly and very attentive. Always took the best care of us!

May 19, 2023Beware of excessive charges and poor customer service.
The resort itself is quite enjoyable and the rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff however are a bit lacking in customer service skills. I’ve been overcharged and the hotel is unable to produce a correct itemized invoice. I’ve spoken to a supervisor who could not elevate or resolve my concern. The Beachcomber has been unable to even simply recite my charges and confirm what I’m being invoiced for. Please check your credit card statements carefully.

Up and Down
One of the most up and down hotels I’ve ever stayed at. One piece was bad luck, but really made the experience bad. We were placed in room 103, one of two rooms where virtually all foot traffic from the lobby passed by. The elevator “dings” constantly, the walls are paper thin, and the voices of the foot traffic were constant. We asked if we could move and we were told no. Two of the four days, they did not come and clean our room, even after requested. The rooms were outdated, no mini fridge, and the AC barely got below 70° which is not great for south Florida. The beach and pool were good experiences, but the room and staff overall really brought our experience down.

Absolutely amazing
Such a wonderful place to stay, the staff were very friendly, food was delicious, wonderful private beach and gorgeous views. Even the hotel smelled amazing. Very clean. Couldn’t ask for a better resort. Absolutely no complaints
