Apr 20, 2026I really enjoyed my time at this hotel.
I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The location is close to Centro and an easy Uber to other cool neighborhoods. I stayed on the premium level and had access to the breakfast and evening hot meal. My room was super clean and comfortable. Everyone who works at the hotel is friendly and kind. I will definitely be back. Muchas gracias Fernanda and Ximena and all the great staff of Barcelo CDMX!

We had a great stay at the hotel. Good value for money. The breakfast and the premiere lounge access are definitely worth it. My only complaint was that before booking an 8 night stay I asked about a late check out as our departure was 6pm. I was told this would be available but would have to pay which I was happy with. They made us wait till the morning of departure to confirm then said it was not available only 1 hour extra. I found this very annoying and would not have booked this hotel had I known this would happen.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, booking directly and through travel partners. Each of my previous visits have been excellent, without fault. However, on the occasion, my room had serious soundproofing issues that meant I was awoken at around 7am each morning, by I assume cleaners in a nearby cupboard or room. It has never been a problem before, so I assume it is isolated to certain rooms, but I could hear every word from a conversation whilst laying in bed. Apart from that, everything else was excellent, but this was a major issue that makes me consider future stays.

Incredible service
My husband and I just went there in December 2025 and it was absolutely a great first experience. The food was incredible, the views amazing, and the customer service was top notch. Our server Roberto Aguirre was incredible and such a great personality!!! We are returning back this summer 2026 again!! We can't wait to be there.

April 2026 visit
The hotel is centrally located in a prestigious part of town, near the Monument to the Revolution. It is easily accessible whether through Uber or the Metro. Breakfast is great and the rooms are well appointed and cleaned daily. The hotel offers its services for a fair price; I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel again. Definitely if we return to Mexico City in future, we will be using this hotel again.
