First off, I wouldn't call this a luxury hotel in North American standards but it is a beautiful resort, well maintained, nice big rooms with so much variety in food and activities. Loved swimming with the sea turtles who live in the sea out front, white sand beach and turquoise waters, staff attentiveness and kindness, buffet food selection was abundant and the resort was spectacularly clean. Shuttle around the resort was great too. We loved the beach grille at the Palace for breakfast and lunch and had a lot of fun in the many pools, kids waterpark and really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant. :) This resort is massive! I felt safe and it was a really lovely time with my son. If I had to be picky: bring washcloths or soft towels from home. Nighttime is on the quiet side but the shows were all very good. Parents with kids may want to ask for a room closer to the pool.

I was happy with how well the property is maintained. Multiple Barcelona resorts are all connected and great walking along the beach. Room I had was Junior Suite w Ocean view and it was good size and staff kept it well maintained. Resort makes effort to keep activities going during the day. Dinner restaurant reservations were hard to get (Thanksgiving week) although the beginning of the week was not quite 100% occupied and when we were in the restaurants, they weren’t quite full. Dinners quality was average in terms of quality, taste and service. Wine menu(additional charge if you want to drink anything but their standard red or white they offered) were outrageously expensive at 10x the retail price in US.

Well I wanted to start a family tradition and schedule these facilities going forward. We booked the premier level balcony suite. Upon arrival the AC was not working and the room smelled of sewer gas the mini bar refrigerator did not work. The ice machine in the hallway was broken and not working the entire trip. We did get the AC corrected, mini bar stayed broken and ice machine was never repaired. We enjoyed the accommodations and facilities for the most part. Although there was a constant stench of sewer gas in our rooms and near the beach area. Pools were beautiful the swim up bars were outstanding, service around the books were great. The Spa was wonderful. Great message and hydro-therapy. Food was poor at best. Do not eat at the Italian restaurant and don’t expect high quality at the buffets. I recommend on continental breakfast teams from the buffets. Strijers the sports bar was the most consistent, and they served hotdogs hamburgers and chicken nuggets. I guess if you are not intending on a foodie experience and would like to lose weight while on vacation you will be fine. The all inclusive does not include transfer back to the airport. They say they do but out of 3 families all us somehow missed every transfer back to the airport. And we left at different times. When we asked resolution we were we don’t fix problems here call corporate. Then we had to call for a cab barely making our flight. I highly recommend slip proof footwear they don’t know what a wet foot sign is and often have water in tile. Sandals and tennis shorts will be a bit slick. My wife ended up twisting here ankle the last night not cool. Bellmen services are hit and miss, and overall service is not great. You do have shining stars and they deserve tips others not so much. I would not recommend staying here unless all you intend on doing is drinking at the pool and eating fast food at the grill. The premier option is a nice item but costs a bit. There are premier lounges which seem to be the only place you get great service. Although at check out you become a leper. IMO look else where. Good Luck with your travels.

Amazing time
Very good service. Really enjoyed it. Dilery Ramos was very nice. The hall bar was very nice place. I really enjoyed our stay and would totally come back. Great vacation amazing beach and wonderful time. Definitely recommend for family and friends.
