Kevin at the bowling alley in Strikers Barceló Maya was amazing super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience way more fun. Great service!

Mar 31, 2026Beautiful Resort but substandard food
This is a beautiful resort. Lots do do and a large selection of excellent swimming pools. Great for families or couples. Sadly the food was very average at best. The buffets were horrible. The food was bland and in most cases over cooked. The restaurants were not that much better. The service in all areas of the resort was excellent. Many of the staff went out of their way to accommodate the guests. Due to the below par food experiance I would not go back.

Easy check-in at Barcelo Maya, caribe with Estefania mania Jose
Estefania at the Barcelo Maya,caribe was absolutely wonderful. She made checking in to our first time here easy and painless. She took the time to make all of our dinner reservations explain everything about the hotel and gave us excellent directions to find our hotel room the restaurants and the beach..
