My husband and I love this hotel, however it does need some improvements and upgrades. We have been to this hotel 4 times now and will return.

Punta Cana 2026
Adult side, Premium level. Daniel at guest services is very friendly and helpful. Clean, large rooms, comfortable beds. Close to beach, water. Beach kept clean.Chairs may not be available when 1st looking, but come back later and can always find. Part of problem is the people, saw one couple with 6 chairs for the 2 of them, only used other chairs for bags and to switch between sun and shade without moving chairs. Also saw same couple rip chair away from another woman trying to use, so not resorts fault, Its the people. Resort is very large. Used the 'train" shuttle to go back and forth between Palace and Adult, several shuttles operating, so didn't have to wait long for a ride. Drinks were acceptable, not fantastic, choices are limited, had to explain how to make several. Buffet: There are many choices and were good, you won't go away hungry. Remember it's a buffet and not gourmet dining, that's why you're there, quick, easy and satisfying. Went to Palace a la carte for suppers. Very good there and several choices. Enjoyed the Japanese the best. Very accommodating, went 2 nights without reservations for 4 people and they got us right in anyway 7 PM. Had just changed our minds on what type of food we were in the mood for. Staff could be friendlier, but I guess we could always learn more Spanish to help as well. The staff at the a la carte restaurants were very friendly and enjoyable. On our next trip to Punta Cana, we would definitely stay here again.

Satisfied Travelers
This was our 4th year in a row of staying at Barcelo Bavaro Beach. We love it there. We've had minor issues come up, but nothing you won't find at any major resort, and certainly nothing to keep us away! The staff are very friendly and eager to please. The food is very good with so many restaurants to choose from. The property is beautiful and huge. It offers anything you could possible want. We will be returning again in February 2027!

2 Week Stay in Paradise
From the time we set foot on the property, until we left. We were treated like royalty and really enjoyed our stay. Thank.you for the break in reality
