The place is ok but the staff and management is zero star and they make the experience worst. The staff seems to be hand in clove with theft. I lost / my phone was stolen and the staff blocked all attempts to be able to recover it. We knew exactly where it was taken and there was a CCTV camera...all we requested them was to see the 30 minute CCTV footage and let us know what happened. We did not even ask for it to be shown to us but see themselves. On the day they said we will try next day as we need to reach some outside staff for that and asked us to come next day (hoping we will never return) ...for some reason it was important for me to recover the data from phone so we stayed put. We returned next day and the staff said 'manager is not here' and they gave us an email ID to write an email and they will take another day to respond...we wrote an email as asked, no response ever. For something that was in their control and time sensitive, they kept delaying it, blocking it and hoping we give up. On the sides their staff told me to forget it, we will never get it from this place. This tells me that their staff was involved in this theft. Safety and trust in people you deal with is so important, especially when you travel in a different country...so we would never come back to this place that has such dubious people managing the place.

Everything about this resort was amazing, from the customer service, the cleanliness, the beauty, and the amenities, not to mention the price. This was by far the best experience we could’ve had with lodging and will be going back.

Amazing experience
Amazing place. The hot spring water from underground heated by the volcano is 50c maximum there are many pools here with different temperatures. The buffet lunch is excellent. You have to hire a locker. Towels you pay for and when you return them you get your money back.

Horrible customer service
I booked this hotel on Sept 4th for over there Xmas holidays. When I booked the reservation it was a non cancellation policy. Which I accepted. I booked with my credit card and just assumed all was good and I would give my credit card upon check in and they wouldn’t charge you when you leave. They send me an email on Nov 9th requesting full payment by Nov 16th. I missed the email and just noticed another email from them today on 17th saying they canceled my Reso. I called them I could pay in full today. But they gave my rooms away. I had flights booked from Canada for my family and there isn’t really any 4star plus hotels left in the area. When i booked the hotel there was a never a mention of paying in full by any specific date. Funny if I tried to cancel my Reso after i booked I would have to pay the full amount. I asked to speak with a manager and they put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back nearly 10 times and they kept picking up and hanging up on me. I asked to speak with the manager and they wouldn’t let me do so. The customer service rep told me his name was Branson. Who knows if that is true. I would expect more from a hotel that calls itself 5 stars. Figure before they cancelled your Reso they would send a follow up email or call when they are charging you 800USD a night. Just all around horrible experience

Nice hot springs resort
We only went as part of a 1-day excursion yet it was wonderful. Will happily visit this place again. Convenient lockers for guests and the bar staff was friendly with good food. I wouldn’t stay in this location too long as it rains daily so I heard meanwhile the beach areas about 3.5 hours away are clear skies. But it was nice to visit the volcano area for 1-2 days.
