Another great Entertainment team
Roxanne upsidedown, Baby Angelo & pineapple 🍍 Angel D from entertainment team muy bien 👍. All of the staff at the hotel are generally hard working to ensure that you have a good holiday. there could be issues with the food not being as hot as we liked, however overall we really enjoyed our holiday. Great Vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Bouganville. We are experienced travellers, probably 30-40 trips, 4.5-5* resorts. We found the service excellent overall. Food very good, very friendly staff who seemed to genuinely want to give us a good experience. Pools are excellent, very clean. Beach is great to walk but didn't like the murky water so we didn't go in. If playing in the water is your "thing" then this probably isn't the resort for you. Otherwise, great resort and are looking forward to going back.

Great resort , great moments
Now is time for writing my review considering Mike from Toronto would like to read it !!! First of all I will start saying that the purpose of this visit was to celebrate my 70s BD with my partner !!! We did well choosing one of the best resorts only for adults. At my arrival we got beautiful decoration at the bedroom door and also delicious bottle of French champagne 🍾. My BD dinner was at El Pescador restaurant fine dining and was a memorable night considering the celebration offered by all staff at that restaurant and of course sponsored by the best two hotel managers: Ana Ortega and Leonardo, who every day made us feel important . Besides we met such a dedicated and courteous staff as Wilbert and Radaisi and Jazmin restaurant , Santa our memorable housekeeper, Chimichanga and Mickey Mouse excellent entertainers , and many others that with their lovely attitude and commitment are wonderful human beings. The facilities are beautiful, the beach is delicious and the culinary at any time any location , let us say fine dining and buffets is exquisite and very well presented

Wonderful memories
Our first time to La Romana but our 25 th time to the Bahia Principe chain . We had a longer then expected bus to the resort from the Punta Cana airport because of construction. We were about an hour and 45 minutes going to the resort and 50 going back . Things definitely out of anyone’s control . Once we arrived at the hotel we had the best experience we have ever had at a check in process . We visited the Esmeralda in April and the check in process was an absolute mess as well as the checkout. We had actually thought of not going back to the Bahia chain but decided to give Bougainville a try . We are SO happy we did . The food was amazing. We had the buffet the first night and did 6 nights of a la cartes . Being a repeat customer of the Bahia gets you more perks ( loyalty programs, we have black status ). All the restaurants were amazing, not one issue with any , other than people showing up in flip flops and tshirts for dinner . The service and staff are fantastic at their jobs , from the gardeners to the managers, all were amazing. Special mention to the pool bar staff , Marien and Pedro , both are wonderful people who truly care about their jobs . The beach was not the best but we researched this resort before we booked and were well aware of the issues . It’s beautiful to look at but we definitely didn’t swim in it . Unfortunately we saw many jelly fish so we didn’t want to temp fate . Lots of golfers at the resort while we were there . Most were very happy with the courses on site . Never had any issues getting chairs by either pool . Always lots of shade available too . Never any issues getting beach towels . One area we need to mention is the lobby bars . There’s 2 !! Which is a great idea in the evenings . Lots of wait staff as well . More of the Bahias need to take lessons from here . Even with the lobby full of people , we never waited for drinks . Lots of seating areas as well . We definitely will return . Thank you for taking the bad experience from the Esmeralda and restoring a wonderful memory at the Bougainville .

Just waiting for pick up so not quite left yet. Absolutely fantastic time. Rooms ultra clean and spacious, Food, great selection and always well cooked and presented, staff....what can you say, everyone so polite and friendly. But a big shout out to 2 in particular....Marien and Pedro at the quiet pool bar, there hospitality was over and above what to expect. Anyone going soon and likes a creme de menthe cocktail ask Marien for a .....carole king .
