  We will never go back to this resort as the buffet didn't change it's food. Everyday and night was the same. International restaurant food was terrible. There was no mini bar all though when we booked and paid in November it was suppose to be included. After complaining they made no attempt to make it right. This resort needs to have some entertainment to keep the guest engaged.

  Very beautiful spot. Laid back and relaxing. Small so everything is close. Resort could charge a little more and provide upper scale drinks. Good food and good assortment.

  Rest and Relaxation in the Sun

  Greatly needed a vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and life back home. Managed to escape from a major winter snowstorm with no delays. The hotel is a 1.25 hour bus ride from the airport. I didn’t really enjoy the bus ride as it twists and turns, but that’s part of the experience to get to such an exotic location. That being said, I also get motion sickness so take that for what’s worth. It’s a smaller hotel, some 150 rooms and checkin is as easy as it gets I suppose. The staff do an excellent job. We were please take the upgrade to a room with water facing view. We believe that it’s so worth it. The hotel is on a bit of a cliff and close to water, a lot of the rooms seem to get a view that you wouldn’t get at other beach resorts. We really enjoyed sunsets from our patio. The hotel is perhaps going through a management change and there is one buffet and 2 à la carte restaurants, we were promised 4 restaurants total. So that wasn’t honoured. Also, the minibar was not stocked and wasn’t going to be for our full week. Rather odd after our contract mentioned stocks minibars, after all it is considered to be a 5 star hotel, this sort of thing is to be included. The wait staff really is exceptional, we really felt pampered. A special shout out to Jose Antonio, Luis Mario, Victor to mention a few, but the wait staff were all really exceptional. The beach was nice and felt very private. The bay does get some seaweed but still one of our better beaches with sun and shade. There was plenty of seating, the water clear and the sand fine. Who could ask for more. The crowd was mostly retired. There is not so much entertainment but it’s nice to hang out in the lobby in the evening. It’s a peaceful resort and it’s adults only. It pretty much fit exactly what we were looking for.

  distilled water

  I’m looking for information on buying distilled water , has anyone been successful I getting this product? I would be grateful for any info. Planning to go in April but need my water.

  Don't book here

  I am here now. Well they took the mini bar in the room away and made it a pay as you go. No longer included. They are now saying that room servise will be not included either. They have also made many drink not included either. There opion of all-inclusive is very different then other Bahia principe resorts. The furniture is falling apart. The sad thing is that this resort has wounderfull views from every room. It used to be our go to resort. The management is ruining this resort. To many restrictions for a all-inclusive, I will not book here again.
