Atmosphere ,wee had a great trip people very nice always smiling and there to help u ,rooms very clean big room beds a bit hard hot water all week, value, very good, cleanliness very clean all over always some one cleaning all over, service , is very good the hotel manager Paula very professional ready to help u food , alot of food very good lots of choices the italian restaurant excellent service and food the restaurant for dinner close to the beach very good they have wraps with chef Alberto and wiltton they r amazing beach bar Darwin , Alexis ,Darwin they like candys and chocolate and gum the lobby bar had great service also if u TIP they remember u when u go back at the bar and pasta CHEF Francis u make amazing pasta global it whas a good experience at this resort will return

Mar 18, 2026Too many smokers (no smoke free areas)
Nice facilities, great beach, great staff. Unfortunately would not return or recommend due to a single facto: Too many smokers and no smoke free areas. There was literally nowhere at the pool or beach area that was smoke free (not even at the little kids pool). There should be separate sections or smoke free areas in the hotel. Felt like you were in a giant ashtray, with second hand smoke everywhere. One guest’s nasty habit/addiction should not impact another’s enjoyment. Yet the lack of any non-smoking areas meant smokers were entirely within their right to smoke pretty much everywhere and anywhere in the hotel (only exception being inside the restaurant/lobby).

Mar 14, 2026Beautiful resort, beach water is disappointing
March 6th-13. Bit of a drive from the Punta Cana airport to the resort. The resort itself is beautiful. Lots of chairs in lobby. Nice breeze blowing through. Rooms are very clean we stayed in room 1004. Only complaint was the tub for showering. The paint was peeling off the tub. Nothing on the resort is a far walk. Food lots of it and very tasty. I am picky and didn’t have a problem. Pool bar and pool. Lots of wonderful tasting drinks. Pool itself for the most part is clean, it could be improved a little. Chairs in shade can be challenging to find. You are NOT allowed to save chairs. BEACH … the beach itself is shaded, grounds are kept so clean, lots of chairs . HOWEVER if you are a water person this beach is not for you. It’s mucky you can’t see the bottom and lots of jellyfish you can’t see. One lady got stung when we were there. I went in once that was it. So sad because I am a beach person. So if you’re going for the beach this is not the resort for you. Which is why we will not be returning. Other than the beach itself a perfect vacation spot. Noice level for nightly entertainment in the lobby can be VERY loud . To the point people were complaining. Value wise little expensive for not having a good beach water. STAFF is amazing and so friendly. I hope if you choose this resort you have a great week. Cheers

Mar 12, 2026Not our best Caribbean experience
Been to the Caribbean many times and in many locations and I must say that this is the worst time we have had. The hotel itself is set in very beautiful gardens which are very well maintained, the rooms are large and spacious and a little dated. The bath was full of little chips and dents and there is no hot water at all across the whole hotel which is very disappointing. The pool is very large but also cold. This is the only hotel in the Caribbean where you need to be up early to reserve a sunbed as they are taken quickly. The food is mediocre at best and is repetitive. The al a carte restaurant are very good and well a visit. The evening entertainment is very poor and very amateurish, not very well planned out. There is not much entertainment during the day either. The beach area is clean & tidy however the sea is a no go zone jelly fish warning every day and the sea is a murky and doesn’t look to pleasant. The staff at this hotel do not understand very much English considering they cater for the American/Canadian clientele. Beware every morning you will be hassled by the Biahia sales team trying to sell you some sort of privilege club they are very insistent and are always hanging around on the morning as you come and go for breakfast. Even when you tell them your not interested they still insist on try to sell you the scheme.

Not Disappointed
I went here by myself a friend recommended it and I wasn't disappointed. I'm going again in April and I can't wait the pool bar and buffet are both great the staff are amazing can't wait.
