B Resort and Spa
B Resort has very helpful staff, from the valet to the general manager. We booked our vacation in early October, but weeks later the negative reviews started at this resort. When we arrived we were told that there was no Disney world view rooms available, because the tower rooms are currently undergoing a remodel\facelift. We were offered an early check-in, which we excepted happily. Our first room on the 10th floor was extremely musty smelling, with a bit of mold in the shower. And the facility was kind enough to move us to the 9th floor. The basic floor had the musty smell throughout the ninth floor. Our room on the ninth floor had a slight musty smell and we made a request to please have the room filters changed. Thank you to the general manager for obliging our request. The basic room was 3\5 stars, the refrigerator was filthy inside, bathroom needed a good sanitizing. Main room window curtains were filthy and missing a curtain rod stick for opening and closing. A question was the house manager who oversees the condition of the rooms before the guests arrive, supposedly inspected this room. Does that person actually exists at the B resort and spa. American Grill, While the menu here is not huge it is except able. But as the days of our stay moved on, the restaurant started to run out of basic foods stables listed on the menu, such as plain cream cheese, mushrooms and a assortment of breakfast muffins. These shortcomings were the fault of the restaurants general manager. Some of the glassware was not acceptable as being clean. I found a phone in one of the restaurants booths, and asked for the restaurants general manager. To turn it in, in hopes that the owner would be back for it. But, the phone was the restaurants general managers. Which concerned me, as to the person who cleared the table and reset, they missed this phone laying on the seat in plain view. Success is in the details. But the staff is very helpful and quick at getting your meals to you, and making you feel welcome. Would I visit here again? I would have to see future reviews with outstanding comments. Otherwise there are many other options close by.
My stay was amazing. Everyone was great but LaShawn and Olivia were awesome. I would RECCOMEND for anyone that will visit DISNEY to stay here. The hotel lobby and room is very clean. Good location to walk tô Disney Springs. THANK You B Resort.
It was awful. They tried to charge us more than the full price we agreed upon on hotels. com. Significantly. The whole place had some heavy perfume/chemical smell. My daughter and I had trouble breathing. We ultimately left and ate the cost of the room. It was inescapable. I only improved outside of the building. There was a gap in the heavy fragrance that smelled a lot like death, so I see why they blasted fragrance through the whole place. But it was noxious. I’ve NEVER given a one star review. I’ve never left a hotel due to condition. I’ve stayed in some dodgy places. It’s beautiful in pictures, but it’s mostly superficial.. We were in the elevator with another family (including an infant) and it began to bounce as it went up nine floors. I was gonna be pissed if I fell to my death there. It felt like the first ten minutes of American horror story, where everything is fine and good and nothing seems sus, but then you start to see the cracks. I bounced out before things went sideways. But I’m sure it’s fine. It’s fine.
When you walk into the hotel its nice and even smells very clean but when you get onto your floor its discusting. The room was nasty, like they didn't even clean it. Would never stay here again. Its unfortunate because the distance to springs is great.
I have stayed there in the past and it was great BUT this time was soo different. The room was very run down and smelled of mildew. Trash in the hallways, elevators not working almost all of the days we were there. And we were traveling with an infant in a stroller to the parks!! There was no signs or notice either! On checkout day we’re were shown the service elevators and given a cart so we could lug all of our stuff out ourselves. Just awful. Will NEVER stay here again!! And not one staff member offered to help or to try to do anything when we complained just told us to leave a review on Trip Advisor. Terrible customer service
