Beautiful hotel
Great location with beautiful views. The room was very comfortable and clean. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to Los Olas area where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The resort food was good with a variety of items. Would definitely stay again.

Just excellent service on the beach
Very helpful staff at B Ocean Resort, big shout out especially to Kevin Jarquin on the beach. He went above and beyond the normal help we would expect to ensure our stay on the beach was comfortable and as near i or perfect as possible. A real credit to the hotel.

Space heaters and blankets
I arrived very late in the evening, sometime around 10:30pm. I checked in at the front desk and was given my room which was two elevators and a walk across a skyway.... so in the "other" tower. I get to my room. I unpack and get ready for bed. I realize how cold it is, 67 degrees, so I turned on the heat. I give it some time and realize it's not getting warmer, in fact, it's blowing cold air. So I called the front desk. I had to call from my phone because I attempted to call from the room phone three times but no one answered. I was hoping they'd send an engineer up. Turns out, there is no heat in this tower at all. It's now 12:30am(ish). I have fully unpacked. I am in pajamas and need to be up at 7:00am the next morning. Their solution? "We can move your room to this tower or we can offer you a space heater". I saw that there was a space heater in the closet so I plug it in. Broken, of course. I call back to the front desk and ask for a supervisor and a space heater. No supervisor on duty and it takes 10 min for them to bring up the space heater. I call back in the morning and speak to Carlos (supposedly the property manager who has no one above him) who is quite rude. I ask him why I wasnt informed at check in that my room didnt have heat (on the coldest day in FL in two years mind you) and why I wasnt put in a room in the tower with heat. He aske me 'are we supposed to inform every guest when there is no heat or a/c'? My answer to that would be yes but apparently the property doesnt feel the same. He would not comp the room as I was offered "blankets" and a "space heater" or "to move rooms". I was never offered blankets and it was nearly 1:00am by the time I called. I wasnt going to pack everything up and walk all the way back to the other tower. I should have been informed at check in that my room did not have heat. It was 63 degrees in my room by the time the space heater arrived and I had to sleep in a sweatshirt and sweatpants. I also asked for the name of the company who owned the property so I could contact someone beyond Carlos and he told me that information would only be given out by "court summons". I will not be staying here again.

Stunning views
Location of the hotel is excellent with stunning views over the beach. The large room had double aspect floor to ceiling windows which flooded the room with light. The bed was very comfortable which gave a great night's sleep. We only ate breakfast in the hotel. It was in the Naked Crab and all staff were very friendly and helpful- especially John (I hope I have remembered his name correctly). I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

Not the best
Nice comfortable beds and pillows but the room had a bad smell of mould . We were also kept awake by the noise of the lift opposite the room The beach beds are all old and broken Not what I was expecting from the pictures . Liked fort lauderdale but not this hotel
