Jan 02, 2026Stay away…too many problems
We stayed here 2 nights. In 2 days our toilet would not flush, called down and they did not show up to fix it. We reported it twice and told housekeeping and gave them 7 hours while we’re gone to fix it and no one showed up. We had to call the front desk on our cell phone because the phone in our room was broken, missing keys, low battery which they would not replace ?? He said it was not time to change it…made no sense. Thermostat was broken. You set it to 68. The air works for about an hour then the heat comes on. It gets hot and the thermostat is still registering 68. They admitted it was broken but offered no resolution. Then there are only 2 bedside lights and one corner lamp. Doesn’t really light up a room. Food was good. Most employees were courteous. The place looks nice on the outside but the guts are so broken. $700 for 2 nights. None of that money is used for upkeep.

Dirty (obviously not vacuumed in the main room nor swept in the bathroom. Too many previous guest hairs) My wife and I stayed with our 2 children, so we asked for 2 extra towels, but that took over an hour to get, so took a while to shower. No door on then shower (by design) so the water splash’s out. Just annoying. Location is good. And there is hot water. So two stars.

Joe and Paris at the front desk are amazing!!!!
Joe and Paris at the front desk were absolutely amazing!! As someone who has worked a lot in customer service, these individuals went above and beyond to make my new years a night to remember, way above what was expected. When I realized my new year’s dress had ripped right before leaving, I stopped by the front desk to ask for a safety pin. It was a long shot, but Joe not only gave me the safety pin I requested, but a full mini sewing kit. He proceeded to offer me a second one “just in case”. Amazing guy, and the safety pin within the sewing kit saved my new years dress! He’s the best!!! Later when I returned I approached the front desk to ask about if they had a public microwave, and even though there was not a public microwave Paris immediately offered to heat up our food in the employees only area/office. She not only heated up our food, but also walked across the building to get us some fancy bamboo cutlery set just to ensure we could fully enjoy our meal. She also went above and beyond here, helping me end the night right with a warm meal and a happy smile. Paris was awesome, and totally saved my evening!!! Joe and Paris were both amazing, and entirely elevated our experience at B Ocean Resort! They saved me and my friend not once, but TWICE on New Year’s Eve!!!! Amazing people, awesome atmosphere. I can’t emphasize enough how grateful I am for the both of them for their role in making sure I started 2026 on the right foot. Without the sewing kit and heating up my food, my night would’ve taken a turn for the worse. Again, Joe and Paris are amazing and entirely went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful New Year’s Eve. These individuals deserve double whatever they’re getting paid!!!! I will very likely return to B Ocean Resort simply because the staff here are such amazing people.

Pathetic Staff and the Hotel Management
We had a confirmed and fully paid reservation through Expedia at Ocean B Resort. When I arrived around 10 PM with my 6-month-old baby, the front desk said the hotel was overbooked and refused to accommodate us. What was worse was the rude and disrespectful behavior of the front desk staff. There was no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to help or arrange alternatives. We were simply turned away at night with an infant. This is completely unacceptable. A confirmed booking clearly means nothing here. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, especially if you are traveling with family.
