Apr 04, 2026Hustle at the bar and grill
The grill and bar at the pool were amazing. Carlos, Michelle, and Chasity were rock stars. The grill and bar were both insanely busy and the three of them hustled to make it all run perfectly. They made delicious food and kept the crowd happy. Not an easy feat! Wonderful service that made the trip extra fun.

Working together with Ease
Café at the pool, workers were amazing Carlos, Michelle and Chasity were basically running the show alone and gave amazing service even though they were swamped with the whole pool area being full and ordering everything at the same time. They handled it with ease and helped each other out. Great job!

Apr 02, 2026Convenient Stay Near Swim Meet With Great Pool, But Some Minor Issues
We recently stayed at this hotel for six nights, a few of which were for a swim meet within easy walking distance. Overall, the property is older but extremely clean, and you can tell the staff puts effort into maintaining it, even though some areas do show the building’s age. Our room was comfortable, though the door handle was partially broken, so we had to open it a certain way. Being close to the highway, there was some noise, but using white noise helped a lot and we still slept fine. There was also some confusion around housekeeping, as they said service would occur on “day 4,” but that did not appear to include our check-in day, which made the timing a bit unclear. The pool area was a highlight. The water temperature was excellent, the pool itself was very clean, and there was a really nice lounging area to relax between events. When we first arrived, pool towels had run out, but for the rest of the week there were plenty available. The pool door on one side was a bit hard to open, which could be improved. The pool bar was very convenient, with great bartenders and friendly service. Prices were a little on the high side, but the convenience of having it right there made up for it. Overall, this was a solid and convenient stay for our swim meet, and with a few small maintenance updates and clearer communication on housekeeping, it could be an even better experience.

I chose this hotel as a mid-range option available through the Global Pet Expo conference offerings. The promo pictures for this venue must be years old and heavily filtered. It's very dated, with paper thin walls. After 2 nights, I asked to be moved because the traffic noise from the interstate at the back of the hotel was horrendous. I never slept more than 4 hours per night and I am exhausted. The location is central on International Drive, but that's about the only thing going for it. The barista bar was never open during my stay. I asked to use my room safe and was amazed to discover that the property management staff member programs your code (which seems highly unsafe)! I ended up taking my valuables to the conference centre to bag check which seemed much more secure. All of the hallways are on the outside of the building, which seems to encourage guests to talk loudly at all times of day and night - hugely disruptive to sleep. The entire facility would benefit from signage to remind guests to be quiet! Fellow conference attendees at this hotel were equally dissatisfied and I hope they write reviews. One said that their room smelled so strongly of disinfectant that it gave them a headache. They couldn't wait to leave (as did I). A good number of the channels on the television didn't work - either due to weak signal or scrambled signal according to the screen. The front desk staff were friendly and pleasant enough, a good front for a terrible venue.

great hotel
wonderful hotel!, nicely decorated lobby. They have a coffee ship, bar & grille and small restaurant on site. Pool area was nice. Room was comfortable and clean and stocked with everything I needed for my stay. The few staff I interacted were polite and helpful. This location was close to whether walking or by car to everything.
