I joined Trip Advisor to write this review after this trip and all the wild negative reviews that had me SO worried. Firstly, we love to travel and prefer to stay in nice hotels or go on cruise ships and we weren’t looking for that for Orlando. We were looking for cheap, well located accommodation where we could sleep and wash. Our money was better spent at the parks than on fancy rooms. The city parks are very extensive so we wanted to use our money there. That was a long way of saying we booked what we expected and hence the 5 star review. It delivered what it said on the tin. We were in building 2 on the ground floor. 3 of us in a queen queen. It says quite clearly in multiple places that the rooms get full service every 4 days unless you request a daily refresh. We simply let reception know that we like a daily refresh and will always require towels. We were added to the daily service and very day after the parks we returned to made beds, emptied bins, areas cleaned and fresh towels. The beds were comfortable, the AC was dated and a bit noisy but it was fine. Public areas are lovely, the on-site shop is excellent and the pool area is great too. UBER $8 to $15 to each Universal park and never waited longer than 5 minutes. Would easily stay again. I think people book expecting a premier inn style place. This is an Orlando style Motel more than hotel but absolutely value for the money. Communication and politeness to reception will get you all you desire.

Very professional
Michelle was absolutely brilliant in the cafe. She was so welcoming. She was helpful in all aspects.

Jan 14, 2026Simply don't go to this hotel.
Simply terrible. The room service was deplorable; they didn't change my bed sheets, much less tidy up, and they didn't sweep the floor either. The bathtub was in serious condition and splashed water on the floor below. The television was limited and lacked smart service. The curtain didn't close completely, causing sunlight to shine through the window onto my face, disrupting my sleep. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi was not of good quality and was highly unstable. Not to mention that the room service women were completely inconvenient, as once, while I was sleeping with my wife and daughters, the woman simply opened the door, invading our privacy early in the morning. This revealed the great unpreparedness of the hotel staff, providing an absurd experience for my family. Another influencing factor was my arrival at the hotel, where there was an error in my reservation, and I had to rent a room for $97 with a $50 deposit—a simply absurd way I was received here. I will never return to Orlando because of this experience. Positive points: in front of the canes

A very great experience
Michelle from the café is amazing! She made my coffee perfectly—it tasted so good. She is very nice, kind, and incredibly helpful, and her positive attitude really stood out. The pool area was great, clean, and well maintained. The fitness area was also very good, with plenty of space and equipment for a great workout. The room was very spacious and clean, with excellent soundproofing that made it extremely quiet and comfortable. The location of the resort is perfect—it’s right in the middle of the tourist area while still being peaceful and quiet. The atmosphere was very welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, the value is well deserved, and I will definitely be happy to come back.

Great experience at Avanti
After reading bad reviews I was anxious about staying here but I can honestly say after staying at many hotels on international drive this was my favourite. Check in was smooth and fast. We stayed in block 2 the room was spacious and had everything I needed. It was clean and the cleaners came in almost every day with clean towels and to take away rubbish. The pool was great big and clean and was open until very late with a bar and music . The hotel was in a perfect location on international drive with everything close by and if you ask at reception they will give you complimentary day passes for the iride trolly. After a very anxious wait to see what this hotel was like I had a great experience and would return.
