This is our 15th year staying at the Mahana. The Property is always well maintained. Staff is so helpful and friendly and ! You can’t be the proximity to the ocean. Whale watching is always a treat this time of year. We’re already scheduled for next January!!

Oceanfront Perfection With Incredible Views
I do not usually write reviews, but this stay was absolutely worth sharing. This was my first trip to Maui, and it did not disappoint. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The property is oceanfront, and the ocean is literally right there. The views are incredible. I had read a few reviews about parking being limited, but I had no issues at all. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. When I opened the door to my unit, I was honestly surprised by how large it was. At first, I was a little disappointed to be assigned a second-floor unit, but that feeling disappeared immediately. The layout was fantastic. There was a small entryway that opened into a spacious living room and full kitchen, with sliding glass doors leading out to the lanai and straight out to an amazing ocean view. Off the living room was a separate area with a sink and space to get ready, followed by the bathroom and a washer and dryer. I used the washer and dryer daily and would have packed far fewer clothes if I had known it was there. The bedroom was very large, had a walk-in closet, and its own sliding glass door to the lanai, again with incredible ocean views. The unit was well stocked with everything you could need, including dishes, coolers, and even toys for kids to use at the beach. The entire property was extremely clean and clearly well cared for. Any issue was handled quickly. My living room TV remote was not working and there was no remote for the bedroom TV, and that was taken care of the very next day after I mentioned it. One of my favorite parts of the stay was opening both sliding glass doors as soon as I arrived and leaving them open the entire time. I only closed them at 4:30 in the morning on my last day when I reluctantly had to leave after nine incredible days. Being on the second floor turned out to be a bonus. The views were amazing, and it was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. I usually do not plan far in advance and tend to just pick a place and go. When I got home, I already checked availability to return in December 2026. The rates are still a bit high that far out, but I would stay at Aston Mahana at Kaanapali again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking views, there is no better place to stay!
My husband and I went to the Mahana for our anniversary. We had the good fortune to stay in #614! Spacious high end finishes with tons of natural light. New carpeting, beautifully maintained and updated, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows. And the view!! Turtles, turtles and more turtles. Whales spouting, slapping and breaching. All visible from the living room window! The condo was quiet inside, just the waves hitting the beach to lull you to sleep. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook up something fantastic or blend your favorite beverage. Front desk is always gracious and helpful with any questions you may have. Great location. Any closer and you are in the ocean!

Awesome Place for the money
It was a great location. The rooms were very nice and clean. The value for the service atmosphere, amenities and noise level was great. Anything that was requested was taken care of right away. The most important thing was the front desk lady Karen was awesome. She took care of every single request right away and really made our stay great.

Great views and good value!
Great experience. Every room has an oceanfront view and is steps from the water. Good snorkeling about 100 yards away. Can walk to restaurants and grocery shopping. Much more low key than other resorts. Pool was fine but not as big as other resorts and did not have water slides or wading pool for young children. Have already reserved for next year.
