Mar 21, 2026Great stay in convenient location on north shore of Ka'anapali Beach.
Great location, very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and quiet. Pools and outside amenties were fine. On-site restaurant was just OK. Walking distance to groceries, coffee and other conveniences. Beach is a bit narrow especially at high tide. Also like many beaches in Maui - really need reef shoes to protect feet in the ocean. The inside room decor is a bit dated but did not show excessive wear. Parking fee is $11.95 per day for guests. Concierge desk very helpful. We selected large 2BR 2Bath Penthouse with wrap around lanai right on the ocean as such view was spectacular.

This is great hotel complex! Fun for the family. The pool is very kid friendly with lots of seating room for families. They were very generous with towels and coffee etc. I think all rooms have a kitchenette which is very nice if you want to cook while you’re there. The rooms are a little dated but clean. It’s close to shopping and some cool dining experiences. There is a Robot Pizza across the road which a cool and good experience for some cheap but good eats. There is a cinnamon bun place about 10 mins walking distance with a nice place for kids to play at the beach also.

Condo #815 great view and comfortable stay
My husband and I stayed in condo #815. We have stayed here two times now and look forward to coming back. It has every thing we needed for a comfortable stay. It has a great ocean view which we enjoyed for morning coffee, sunsets and viewing the whales. In walking distance there is a grocery store, some restaurants and food trucks. We didn’t try the restaurants, but did get fresh fish down the street and brought food in from the food trucks. Both very good! This condo is nicely located to Kapalua and Honolua bay which we enjoy.

Aston Ka’anapali Shores rocks
This was our first time staying at Aston Kaanapali Shores. We were very happy with the experience. Its location is amazing — walking distance to a grocery store, food trucks, restaurants, and great beaches. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was so warm! We would definitely stay there again.

Very good accommodations at a reasonable price(for Maui) price point.
We had a very short stay (2 days) at the property after spending 3 weeks at another property down the beach in Kaanapali. We were scouting locations for passible stays in the future. The reservations person we talked to was able to get us in the room at noon vice the normal checkin time of 4:00 which was greatly appreciated. The hotel accommodations were very good, the staff friendly and helpful, and the cost reasonable. The bathroom could have used some upgrading, but overall the suite was comfortable and clean. overall, we would consider staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores on future trips. The onsite restaurant was very good as well.
