An honest slice of Kauai life. A pleasant unpretentious facility which makes one feel at home. Within walking distance to many local eateries.

Beautiful grounds, very relaxing. Close to stores, ABC store and many restaurants Loved the balcony to listen to the birds and feel the cool ocean breeze and read. the pool and jacuzzi area was too small for the amount of people.. Shower drain was plugged, tub stained, old shower head, needs updating. They have a tv but not streaming or cable, you have to get 1 dvd at a time in the lobby. Only had 1 outlet to charge electronics. No elevator. Overall a great hotel.

Excellent Stay!
This was our second stay at the Aston Islander on the Beach. We returned after many years and loved it as much as our first trip. The room was spacious and the air-conditioning was very good, excellent temperature! We enjoyed the convenience of the local restaurants and market within walking distance. The beach path was great for our morning walk.

Great place to stay.
Nice Clean older hotel where everything is well kept. Great views and easy access to just about anything that you would need while on vacation. We would stay there again!

Islander Aloha!
Location is exceptional, room cleanliness is great, very friendly and helpful staff! I will return and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
